| Energy is an essential resource for the survival of human society and the vital lifeline of national economic development, and the energy problem has always been highly concerned.Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of China’s economy, the social demand for energy is also rising,China’s energy structure is constantly adjusting and changing with the pace of The Times, followed by serious environmental pollution, and even caused people’s attention to health.Energy consumption, climate change and health issues have always been the focus of attention of various countries, especially after China proposed the "dual carbon" target, the public attention is focused on the transformation of China’s energy structure. In this context,it is of great significance to study the social effects of clean energy consumption.Health is an absolute requirement for the high quality of life of citizens. Therefore,it is necessary and meaningful to study the health effects of clean energy consumption for national energy policy making and national health.Through reading a large number of literatures, this paper reviews and explores the development status, possible problems and potential development prospects of energy consumption and public health.By collecting relevant data, the number to hospital as a measure of public health and industrial so2 emissions, industrial waste water emissions and general industrial solid waste production amount for air pollution, water pollution and land pollution, using mediation effect model to study the effect of clean energy consumption on public health and the environment pollution in it.Then, from the overall level of China, the sub-regional level and the comparison with other countries in the world, the impact factors of China’s clean energy consumption on public health and the role of environmental quality are obtained.Combined with the current development, the solutions to existing problems and the direction of future efforts are sought. The study found a negative correlation between clean energy consumption and public health in China as a whole, partly explained by air quality(14.8%)and land quality(11.4%).At the regional level, only the central and western regions showed negative correlation with the overall results of China. For these two places, the environmental factors that play a significant role in influencing the path are also different. The mediating effect of air pollution and water pollution in central China accounted for 55.9% and 48.4%,respectively.The mediating effect of water pollution in western China was significant, accounting for 26.4%.At the world level, clean energy consumption was significantly negatively associated with mortality from respiratory diseases, but air quality did not explain this effect. Therefore, this paper puts forward the following suggestions: First, vigorously develop clean energy, accelerate the adjustment of energy structure, and get rid of the dependence on coal and oil as soon as possible.Second, maximizing the promotion of new energy and create incentives for clean energy consumption.Third,we will address environmental pollution, pay attention to water pollution and other pollution problems, and ensure that investment in environmental pollution control is effective.Fourth, improve citizens’ health awareness, develop medical conditions in a balanced way,and narrow the health gap between different regions. |
