| Human capital,as an indispensable cornerstone of economic development,is of great significance in promoting economic development and economic transformation. At the same time, health is the key factor that decides the state of national work and production and gives play to subjective initiative in the process of creating labor value.Considering this,in recent years, health investment, health also received more and more attention. The more serious the atmospheric pollution of the environment, more conducive to the improvement of residents’ health status, this paper mainly through grossman model on the basis of health human capital demand, choose per unit of GDP industrial S02(Et)of logarithmic as indicators of environmental pollution,is a common index by reference to the foreign health function, the mortality rate percentage(Hh)as a measure of health indicators.Health refers to Health, and it adopts the common index in foreign macro Health functions, expressed in terms of mortality, referring to the practice of CAI Yun,Zhou Mei and Qi Yu.Mixed OLS were used Regression, the bidirectional fixed effects regression and instrumental variable regression of all samples and three from the sample group, from the perspective of empirical system illustrates the degree of pollution of the environment for economic growth mechanism of action, the samples will be 29 provinces in the different level of economic development in accordance with the per capita GDP in developed groups(including 10 samples),secondary development group(including 10samples)and low development committee(With 9 samples),mixed OLS effect regression, fixed effect regression considering individual differences in sample data and instrumental variable regression considering endogeneity were used to conduct robust and systematic empirical analysis of the proposed hypothesis.Based on this analysis, this paper uses the bidirectional fixed effects model to perform a regression analysis on panel data of 29 provinces and autonomous regions(excluding Xizang and Chongqing)in China’s mainland from 1996 to 2019.The results of the estimation of the total sample, developed province, high development province and low development province show that the environmental pollution level has a significant but negative effect on economic growth in all provinces, developed province and high development province in the benchmark regression considering core explanatory variables and control variables.Health human capital is an effective mediator through sober-test Test. After introducing explanatory variable lag one stage as a tool variable into model regression, the results of basic regression do not change much after endogeneity is solved. The mediator is still valid and the empirical results are still credible, which further proves the reliability of the conclusion. With the introduction of SARS in 2003 as a dummy variable, the empirical results are still robust. |
