Research On Children’s Growth Furniture Design Based On Sustainable Design Concept

Comparing the seventh National Bureau of Statistics census data with the si xth census data in 2020,it can be found that the proportion of people aged 0-14 in China increased by 1.35%.With the implementation of the national three-ch ild policy in 2021,the number of children will gradually increase in the future.The improvement of life quality and the change of education concept make peop le pay more attention to the process of children’s growth and the environment,a nd the consumer market of children’s products is promising.However,there are some problems in children’s furniture on the market,such as unqualified quality and demand consideration,which are not conducive to the sustainable developme nt of children’s furniture design and consumer market.Therefore,in the process of children’s furniture design,it is of important theoretical value and practical sig nificance to fully consider the needs of users and explore the sustainable design ideas,principles and methods of furniture.With children’s growth furniture as the research object and children aged 3-12 as the target users,this paper summarizes the research background of the subj ect combined with the concept of sustainable design,analyzes the research statusof sustainable design and children’s growth furniture design at home and abroad,and expounds the purpose and significance of the research.Firstly,the concept,development history and design principles of sustainable design were sorted outby literature research and investigation analysis method,and the physiological,p sychological and behavioral growth characteristics of children aged 3-12 were an alyzed.Then,the children’s furniture was designed and analyzed from the categor ies,design elements and design principles.This paper analyzes the application ofsustainable design in children’s furniture design and explores the sustainable desi gn idea of children’s growth furniture.Secondly,field observation method,intervi ew method and questionnaire method are used to investigate and analyze the nee ds of children users and related users of children’s growth furniture,comprehensi vely extract the design needs of furniture,and use the KANO model to investiga te and analyze the demand satisfaction,so as to determine the attributes and prio rities of the needs.Then combined with the above theoretical analysis and resear ch analysis,the sustainable design principles of children’s growth furniture are su mmarized and the sustainable design methods of children’s growth furniture are p roposed.Finally,the design orientation of the practice is determined based on the pre liminary analysis,and the design elements and direction of the practice are defin ed.Guided by the sustainable design principles and methods of children’s growthfurniture,the design practice is completed through scheme conception,model cr eation and design display,and then the design evaluation is carried out through t he user satisfaction survey.It provides reference value for the research of childre n’s growth furniture design based on sustainable design concept.
