Research On Furniture Design Based On The Growth Of Preschool Children

With the improvement of people's living standards and the opening of the second-child policy,more and more people pay more attention to the growth environment of children.Children's furniture is not only the product that children usually use in the process of growth,but also an important part of children's living space.Although the development of furniture in China has a long history and a complete system of practice and theory,children's furniture still keep the level of safety,appropriate scale and rich appearance.Based on the current environment of children's growth,through the analysis of the problems and challenges that will be faced in the furniture market,this paper will discusses the necessary role of children's growth furniture design for children's growth.In this paper,based on the analysis of the characteristics of children's physical and psychological growth,through on-the-spot investigation of the use scenes of target products,analysis of existing products,interviews with target groups and online questionnaire survey,to find the problems and deficiencies of existing products.Combining those problems and drawbacks with the theory of children's cognitive development,using the method of product design to produce the furniture in line with children's physical and mental development.Finally,the combination of entertainment,leisure and learning will be used in children's furniture,hoping to promote children's cognitive development through the interaction between children and children's furniture in the stage of growth.Combining the needs of children's physical and mental development with children's furniture design,taking children's demands as the standard in the process of design,so that it can be met the changing needs of children in the process of growth.Furniture in line with children's growth will play a significant role in cultivating children's cognitive ability,then affecting children's future development.therefore,the research will play a positive guide to the children's furniture market and design in the future.
