Under the requirements of green transformation and development,in order to deal with the personalized needs of customers,Chinese manufacturing enterprises should adopt the ambidextrous green innovations strategy(exploitation and exploration)to meet the green orders in various application scenarios.However,there is research gap in the internal driving mechanism and performance results of ambidextrous green innovations.How to encourage enterprises to actively carry out green innovation is still a problem that needs attention in theoretical research and practice.Factors such as the technological environment in which the enterprise is located and cross-border team mode of enterprises also exert an influence on the ambidextrous green innovations practice process.Therefore,it needs to be further clarified by relevant theoretical exploration and empirical test.With the help of resource-based and knowledge-based theory,we take ambidextrous green innovations as the core variable,introduce green organizational culture and green human resource management as the internal driving factors,and economic performance as the effect result.Furthermore,the external boundary impact of technological turbulence and gig economy factors is considered.After building structural equation model,empirical analysis is made on the data from 192 manufacturing enterprises through questionnaire.Data were analyzed by SPSS,AMOS to prove research hypotheses.The main independent and innovative work of this research is as follows:(1)Based on the resource-based theory,this paper proposes an internal function model that takes green organizational culture and green human resource management as the starting points to promote the practice of ambidextrous green innovations and further achieve economic performance.Therefore,this paper reveals the internal relationships between ambidextrous green innovations,internal driving factors and performance result.Previous studies mainly focus on the external driving factors,and internal driving mechanism of corporate strategy and other aspects.However,the influence of the green internal environment and structure formed in the process of organization and operation on the ambidextrous green innovations which determine the tendency of the enterprise ecological behavior cannot be ignored.However,the driving mechanism of ambidextrous green innovations is still unclear.Based on the resource-based theory,this paper postulates that green organization culture plays an important role in ambidextrous green innovations by forming internal green atmosphere,spreading green value and carrying forward green culture.Green human resource management promotes ambidextrous green innovations by providing internal support,improving green standard and optimizing internal member’ ability and motivation.Therefore,the existing research gaps are supplemented,and the research and application of the internal driving factors and performance effects of ambidextrous green innovations are deepened.(2)Based on the knowledge-based theory,the moderating effect of technological turbulence between internal driving factors and ambidextrous green innovations is proposed,the boundary conditions of the implementation process of ambidextrous green innovations are clarified,and the theoretical perspective of technological turbulence related research is enriched.Technological turbulence is the key external technological environment and its change situation and degree will have a certain impact on the development of enterprises.However,the existing studies have ignored the role of this factor in the implementation of ambidextrous green innovations practice.Based on the knowledge-based theory,this paper proposes that technology turbulence can strengthen enterprise risk awareness,accelerate the speed of technology change,and promote the further improvement and spread of internal green organizational culture,promote the further construction and implementation of internal green human resource management,achieving the practice of ambidextrous green innovations.This provides a new way to analyze the influence mechanism of ambidextrous green innovations,and helps enterprises combine their own conditions and external conditions to choose the appropriate ambidextrous green innovations strategy more effectively and achieve green results.(3)Based on the knowledge-based theory,the moderating role of gig economy between internal driving factors and ambidextrous green innovations is proposed,and the influence of cross-border team strategy,which is easily ignored in the past,on the practice of ambidextrous green innovations is innovatively proposed,which promotes the development of gig economy in the field of ambidextrous green innovations research and inspired new ideas for the study of green innovation.With the widespread application of open innovation mode,gig economy mode has gradually become a more common employment trend,and its characteristics such as gig scale,duration and class will certainly have an impact on the innovation practice of enterprises in the long run.The lack of existing relevant research is difficult to provide credible theoretical guidance for enterprise practice.Based on the knowledge-based theory,this paper proposes that gig economy can simplify the green knowledge transmission chain,strengthen the influence of green values and green calls,promote members’ innovative thinking and green ideas sharing and reorganization,and accelerate the realization of ambidextrous green innovations.Therefore,it makes up the research blank of gig economy factors in the field of empirical research on ambidextrous green innovations,complements the previous research framework and enriches the boundary conditions of ambidextrous green innovations research.To sum up,efforts to achieve economic performance by ambidextrous green innovations strategy cannot be achieved without the promotion of internal green organizational culture and green human resource management,and will also be restricted and influenced by external technological turbulence environment.Meanwhile,the establishment of trans-boundary team oriented by gig economy can increase the flexibility and environmental responsiveness of enterprises to implement ambidextrous green innovations strategy.The research results can provide theoretical and strategic support for enterprises to develop green new products based on differentiated customer needs.
