Research On Jacquard Garment Forming Process And Its Garment Design Practice

Jacquard is one of the key technologies in the warp knitting industry and the jacquard piece forming process enables the production of garments from yarn to garment.The objective of this paper is to investigate the jacquard jersey forming process and the factors influencing the size of jacquard garment pieces,with the aim of designing garments based on the jacquard jersey forming process.Through literature analysis,experimental research and data analysis,this paper explores the problems of the warp jacquard jacquard forming process and the higher standards and demands of current users and companies for warp jacquard fabrics.The following problems were identified: Firstly,the traditional warp-knitted jacquard garments join the front and back pieces of the garment by stitching them together,thus making the actual pattern of the fabric after sewing the fabric together inaccurate in relation to the previous dimensional positioning in the process of process design,especially in garments with jacquard garments that require accentuated pattern patterns.Due to the lack of experience and the large dimensional errors,the development of new warp jacquard garments requires repeated sample making and a long development period.Secondly,there is a certain relationship between warp jacquard forming garments in the process from process size to garment size,so it is important to investigate the influence of process parameters on the size and shape of warp jacquard forming garments and to optimise the application of fabric process parameters in garment design in order to provide a useful reference for the design development and production practice of warp jacquard forming garments.As people’s living standards continue to improve and the domestic market for warp-knitted garment fabrics grows,the aesthetic requirements for jacquard fabrics increase significantly,a trend that further promotes the production of domestic warp-knitted jacquard fabrics and the development of such products.This paper therefore proposes the following solutions to the above problems facing the jacquard garment forming process.The first is to investigate the factors affecting the size of warp-knitted jacquard forming garments and the influence of process parameters on the size and shape of warp-knitted elastic forming garments;the second is to enhance the accuracy of size prediction by the technical department and to verify the accuracy and reasonableness of the model prediction by establishing a jacquard forming garment size prediction model and conducting experimental characterisation to improve the efficiency of new product design and shorten the development cycle of warp-knitted jacquard forming garments.Thirdly,the design of garments based on the jacquard forming process will enrich the diversity of garment fabrics,enhance the aesthetics of warp knitted jacquard garments and improve product quality and market competitiveness.
