Along with people' pursuit of portability, comfort, fashion individuality of sports shoes, warp-knitted jacquard fabric has become the preferred choice of sports shoes' material due to many excellent properties, like rich pattern, good physical performance, high production efficiency and so on. The traditional jacquard fabrics are mostly used for clothing, lack of system research on jacquard fabric uppers' design, simulation and virtual display. To develop the jacquard shoe-upper fabric's design efficiency and simulation effect, the shoe-upper fabric's size, simulation and 3D virtual display are researched in this paper. The specific contents are as follows:Firstly, the structure features and process principles of jacquard shoe-upper fabric are researched. This fabric is divided into single-layer, double-layer and three-layer jacquard fabric according to its structural characteristics. The fabric's forming principles are also studied. Jacquard lapping in the same direction technology, jacquard lapping in the opposite direction technology and double jacquard technology are researched respectively to lay the foundation of this fabric's design and simulation research.Secondly, the design method of warp-knitted jacquard shoe-upper fabric is studied deeply. The template design method is put forward introducing from the shoe pattern design and the instep layout design. To explore the jacquard fabric size design method, the factors such as density, organization structure and jacquard organization on the overall and local size warpage are studied. And a size prediction system is also developed. This fabric's design methods of material, structure design, process parameters and the finishing process are summarized finally.Thirdly, warp knitting jacquard shoe-upper fabric's computer aided design and simulation technology are studied. The computer aided design models of jacquard fabric uppers are researched, including lapping movement, jacquard pattern and yarn entry design models. Simulation method based on spring-mass is deeply studied, using the geometric method to establish the basic model of stitch structure. In view of the physical properties of the fabric, the stitch is simplified as a particle, and extension line as spring. The force is analyzed to find the stitch deformation principles. Finally, the fabric's simulation is realized using programming language.Finally, three-dimensional virtual display of jacquard shoe-upper fabric is studied. 3D modeling, jacquard shoe-upper fabric prototype and 3D virtual display is researched. In this paper, the coordinates of the sports shoe's feature point of are obtained by actual measurement, and the 3D model is obtained by establishing the triangular mesh model. Finally, 3D virtual display is realized by Open GL texture mapping technology.This research provide a reference for design and simulation research on warp-knitted jacquard shoe-upper, and it has theoretical and practical value.
