| Traditional Chinese embroidery art has a long history and is an important part of Chinese civilization.Taoyuan embroidery is a folk embroidery handicraft with very regional characteristics.It belongs to the municipal intangible cultural heritage protection project and is also one of the representatives of Wuling culture.Taoyuan embroidery combines practical value and aesthetic value.It presents a unique artistic style by virtue of the richness of embroidery themes,unique shape composition and decorative color application.It is also an important part of Hunan folk embroidery and "Xiang embroidery" formed source of nutrition.This paper takes Taoyuan embroidery as the research object,collects a large number of graphic materials,summarizes practical experience.The application of Taoyuan embroidery in modern women’s clothing design has been systematically studied by means of literature research,field investigation,case analysis,and deconstruction and reorganization.First,the article first analyzes the natural environment and humanistic environment of Taoyuan embroidery,and then sorts out the history and development of Taoyuan embroidery,and concludes that the artistic style of Taoyuan embroidery is influenced by Chu culture.Second,it analyzes the artistic features of Taoyuan embroidery.On the basis of sorting out the theme patterns of Taoyuan embroidery,it also summarizes and interprets its shape composition and color application.According to the literature,pictures and field research,the artistic characteristics of Taoyuan embroidery are summarized.Third,through the above research on Taoyuan embroidery,combined with contemporary design methods and fashion trends,sum up the application principles and methods of how to reasonably apply Taoyuan embroidery to modern women’s clothing design.Fourth,based on the content and results of the above research,take Taoyuan embroidery as the source of inspiration and modern women’s clothing as the carrier to carry out the final design practice,and discuss the possibility of innovative application of Taoyuan embroidery in modern women’s clothing design.The research results of this project aim to analyze its artistic characteristics by sorting out its environment and historical status,so as to carry out innovative application practices,promote the protection and development of local intangible cultural heritage,and integrate traditional culture with modern design concepts.It better highlights the distinct tradition and spirit of the times,and provides a reference for contemporary design practice. |
