| Pig farming manure is one of the main sources of agricultural surface pollution,but it also contains huge resource potential.In recent years,many regions in China have been promoting pig manure resource utilization technology,aiming to promote the sustainable development of pig industry and the construction of rural ecological civilization.Although there is practical experience in the promotion of pig manure resource utilization technology,there is a lack of research on its cost and benefit,which affects the further promotion of this technology.In this paper,taking Ningxiang City,one of the pilot areas for promoting the resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure,as an example,based on the questionnaire data,the Cost-Benefit analysis method is used to explore the cost-benefit of resource utilization of pig farming manure,the Entropy Method and the Multinomial Logistic Regression model are used to analyze the influencing factors of farmers’ decision to adopt manure resource utilization technology and its mode,and the Entropy Method Topsis model is used to explore the optimal matching mode of three farming The optimal matching model of farming scale was explored in order to provide a decision basis for the promotion and research and development of pig farming manure resource utilization technology.The findings of the study are as follows:(1)Large-,medium-and small-scale pig farms all have financial losses by adopting manure resource utilization technology,but large-scale pig farms have less losses than medium-or small-scale ones,and the scale effect reduces the losses.(2)The deciding factors for adoption of manure resource utilization technology by pig farmers are policy requirements and environmental awareness of farmers,rather than current cost-benefit considerations.(3)Farmers’ choice of manure resource utilization mode is influenced by incentive policies,natural environmental conditions,and net household income,in which the influence of model cost-benefit is larger than other influencing factors.(4)Based on comprehensive benefit evaluation,the most suitable manure resource utilization models for large-,medium-and small-scale pig farms are manure specialized energy utilization model,sewage fertilization utilization model,and ecological recycling and purification model,respectively.Based on the evaluation of private net benefits,the most suitable models for large-scale and small-scale pig farms are manure specialized energy utilization model,and the most suitable models for medium-scale pig farms are ecological recycling and purification model.Based on the ecological and social benefits,large,medium and small scale pig farms are most suitable for manure fertilization utilization model.This paper suggests that the government,in promoting manure resource utilization technology:(1)improve financial support for resource utilization treatment of manure from pig farming;(2)stimulate manure collection service stations to improve treatment efficiency or promote the development of specialized energy utilization model of manure in order to enhance the economic benefits of manure resource utilization for pig farmers;(3)encourage and support enterprises or individuals engaged in agricultural production to adopt organic fertilizer from pig manure.It is recommended that technology R&D institutions:(1)develop low-cost manure elimination technologies to reduce the operating costs of resource utilization of manure from pig farming;(2)develop technologies that can produce high-quality manure fertilizer products oriented to market demand.From the perspective of private gains,it is recommended that farmers:(1)choose the manure specialization energy utilization model for large-scale farms,the sewage fertilization utilization model for medium-scale farmers,and the ecological cycle purification model for small-scale farmers;(2)actively broaden the organic fertilizer sales channels. |
