| Entering the 21 st century, how to control the ecological security fuse and build an ecological civilized society has become the axis and focus of development in the world today. In 2020,the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued opinions on the scientific utilization of forest land resources for the high-quality development of timber-based food and oil and forestry. The National Development and Reform Commission has put forward five projects involving the forestry carbon sink CCER to maximize the ecological function of forests in absorbing carbon emissions,so that the full utilization of the ecological and economic value of forests will contribute to the promotion of building an ecological civilization.Due to the advantages of the natural environment, the northeast has great prospects for forestry development and is the largest forested area in China.Accordingly, this paper takes the northeastern forestry as the object of study and calculates the ecoefficiency of forestry to explore the spatial variation of the eco-efficiency of the northeastern forestry at different points in time, analyze the role of influencing factors, and explore ways to resolve the contradiction between ecological environmental protection and economic development. This paper first explores the specific meanings of forest management and ecoefficiency, discusses both concepts through relevant literature and policy documents, and explains the basic logic of linking the two.Second, based on the theory of eco-efficiency system and the current situation of forestry development,an "input-output" system of forestry eco-efficiency is constructed, and a super-efficient SBM model is used to measure and evaluate the eco-efficiency of 87 state-owned forestry in Northeast China from 2005 to 2019.At the same time, standard deviation ellipse analysis,center-of-gravity analysis, kernel density analysis,Moran index and spatial trend surface analysis were used to quantitatively analyze the spatial and temporal trends in the eco-efficiency of forestry in Northeast China from both static and dynamic perspectives. Finally, specific factors affecting the spatial and temporal variation of understored forestry ecological efficiency were identified, and a geodetector model was used to identify the magnitude of each factor explaining the spatial variation of understored forestry ecological efficiency in Northeast China. The following conclusions were drawn:(1)The ecological efficiency of 87 stateowned forest farms in Northeast China showed an overall stable upward trend, and the overall level of ecological and economic benefits was high, but there were still problems with technical regression and non-achievement of optimal production scale.(2)The spatial distribution of the eco-efficiency of northeast China’s forestry shows a general trend of tightening, with the agglomeration effect gradually increasing and the center of gravity of eco-efficiency moving in a northwest-southeast direction, with the center of gravity clustered around Heilongjiang Province;the spatial layout shows the characteristics of a "multi-nodal" agglomeration, with Yichun City and Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture as the main agglomeration areas. The spatial layout is characterized by a ’multi-nuclear’ agglomeration, with Yichun and Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture as the main clusters.(3)Between 2005 and 2019,the overall Gini coefficient of forestry eco-efficiency in Northeast China showed an upward trend with a clear agglomeration trend, and inter-regional differences were the main cause of spatial differences.(4)The endogenous factors of Northeast China forestry are more likely to influence the level of eco-efficiency,with several factors jointly influencing them, with the behavior of the factors influencing the eco-efficiency of forestry being nonlinear increasing.(5)The eco-efficiency of Northeast China forestry is influenced by the scale of production, technological level, input capital, and regional differences.Accordingly, the following policy recommendations are put forward: strengthen scientific and technological innovation to promote optimal production in forestry;reduce regional disparities to achieve the integration of forestry development in Northeast China;adjust the industrial structure of forestry to optimize forestry input and output. |
