In the context of China’s realization of "2060 carbon neutralization" era,power enterprises should actively seize the opportunity provided by carbon peak and carbon neutralization to the power industry,Seize the important turning point of our country energy structural adjustment,unswervingly promote the transformation of renewable energy,and realize the clean and low-carbon development of energy structure,so as to further improve the company’s sustainable development.The company’s ability of sustainable development will be further improved.Green development has become unstoppable,so the power industry is shifting to a new operating mode of "green and low-carbon",we should attach importance to the evaluation of enterprise environmental performance,to understand that environmental performance is also one of the endogenous power of enterprises,environmental performance and economic performance complement each other,can jointly escort the development of enterprises.This thesis takes China Resources Power,one of the leading enterprises in the power industry,as the research object.Through consulting and analyzing the sustainable development report published by the enterprise,it finds the following problems in environmental management: the method of environmental performance evaluation is too simple,the content of environmental performance evaluation is unitary,and the enterprise lacks a set of systematic environmental performance evaluation system.The construction of enterprise environmental performance evaluation system is still at the beginning stage of our study,therefore the study of this thesis can provide a reference direction for China Resources Power in establishing enterprise internal environmental performance evaluation system in the future.The research idea of this thesis is as follows: First of all,the relevant researches on environmental performance evaluation,indicators and methods at home and abroad were reviewed,and the research content,research methods and research innovations of this thesis were briefly summarized.Secondly,the related concepts and theories of environmental performance evaluation are expounded.Then,it introduces China Resources Power Company from three aspects: general situation of China Resources Power Company,analysis of the status quo of environmental performance evaluation and existing problems.Then,depending on the traits of the electric-power industry,combined with domestic and foreign environmental performance evaluation research,"Enterprise Environmental Behavior Evaluation Technical Guidelines" issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection,annual reports and sustainable development reports published regularly by enterprises,the environmental performance evaluation system for electric power enterprises is constructed,which consists of four dimensions: resource consumption,environmental pollution,environmental governance effectiveness and external communication.The evaluation index system of enterprise environmental performance is established with 11 index layers.Entropy weight method is used as the index weight,and TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation method is used to carry out the evaluation of enterprise environmental performance.Finally,through the analysis,it is found that China Resources Power has four problems: high resource consumption,insufficient capacity of emission reduction and emission reduction,poor effect of environmental governance,and insufficient external communication.Corresponding suggestions are put forward to solve these problems:(1)strengthen energy conservation and consumption reduction,and build corporate green culture;(2)Increase investment in research and development to help enterprises transform and upgrade;(3)Improve the construction of talent team and formulate environmental governance system;(4)Strengthen external communication and enhance the external image of the enterprise.It is hoped that the research in this thesis can provide certain help for electric power enterprises in the establishment of environmental performance evaluation system,provide theoretical basis for electric power enterprises to realize green transformation,and help electric power enterprises to seize opportunities and shine.
