Research On Financial Performance Evaluation Of HN Electric Power Company Under Low-Carbon Perspective

In recent years,energy shortage and environmental pollution have become the focus of the world's attention,and the integration of low-carbon concept into economic development has become an inevitable trend.The electric power enterprises with the characteristics of high pollution and high emission are not only the micro units to undertake the industrial transformation,but also the social subjects to practice the low-carbon development.Therefore,the financial performance evaluation of electric power enterprises should not be limited to the economic benefit analysis of traditional financial indicators,but also pay attention to the evaluation of social and environmental benefits.Only by integrating the low-carbon concept with energy conservation and emission reduction as the core into every link of the operation and management of electric power enterprises,can we truly realize the high quality and sustainable development of enterpriseIn this paper,the representative HN Electric Power Co.,Ltd.in the industry is selected as the research object.From the perspective of low-carbon,the relevant literature is widely read.In the traditional economic evaluation index based on financial ratio,the low-carbon evaluation index is added to reflect the operating characteristics and resource consumption characteristics of electric power enterprises,and the economic,social and environmental benefits are integrated financial performance evaluation system,and use AHP-entropy method to evaluate the production and operation of HN company in a scientific,objective and all-round way.Based on the analysis of the evaluation results,it is concluded that the index of economic benefit is more important than environmental benefit than social benefit in the financial performance evaluation system of HN electric power company from the low-carbon perspective,and the overall financial performance score of 2014-2018 shows a fluctuating downward trend.The main reason is that the company continued to expand the industrial layout dominated by thermal power generation in the early stage under the specific industry background,ignoring the the importance of pursuing environmental benefits,because of the competition of clean energy,makes its thermal power profit space under pressure,economic benefits decline,and then leads to the reduction of social benefits.According to the specific situation of HN company,finally,it puts forward targeted suggestions from four aspects:focusing on the coordinated development of economic,social and environmental benefits,optimizing the layout of green production capacity,increasing the research and development of low-carbon technology,and focusing on the needs of stakeholders,in order to improve the financial performance of HN power company,realize the maximization of the comprehensive value of the enterprise,and provide certain reference for other enterprises in the same industry.
