Research On Jewelry In Xia,Shang And Zhou Dynasties

The research objects of this paper are head ornaments,ear ornaments and neck ornaments in Xia.Shang and Zhou dynasties.There are few achievements in the research on the aesthetics and design thinking of jewelry research in the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties from the perspective of design The jewelry of the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties,which embodies the ritual culture,is an important part of the history of jewelry in my country.Its materials,patterns and combinations of jewelry all write the changes in the visual form of jewelry in the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties in a formal language full of the characteristics of the times.At the same time,it also contains the development context of the cultural background of this period.This article is mainly based on the unearthed materials of jewelry in the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties.Through sorting out and analyzing the unearthed materials and related research results,this paper briefly classifies and summarizes the jewelry in the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties,and discusses the aesthetic and design thinking embodied in the jewelry.The thesis is thus divided into six chapters:Chapter Ⅰ:Introduction.A brief description of the research background,research significance,domestic and foreign research status and time range of the research object of this paper.Chapter Ⅱ:Provides a brief overview of the economic,political,and cultural context of the Xia-Shang-Zhou period.Its political background has led to the tilt of social means of production.the economic background has provided powerful conditions for the production and circulation of jewelry,and the culture of witchcraft and totemic worship has played a decisive role in the shape and ornamentation of jewelry.Chapter Ⅲ:The Xia Shang Zhou period jewelry according to the category of modern jewelry divided into three categories of headdress,earrings and neck ornaments,according to the develepment of the times,the materials,ornaments,modeling and other artistic styles of the jewelry unearthed in this period are analyzed,and it is believed that the develolpment and evolution of the headdress in this period is mainly rellected in the continuous enrichment of materials,mainly bird elements in the shape;the development and evolution of earrings is reflected in the differences in the region,the Central Plains is dominated by jade earrings,and the northern nomadic areas are dominated by metal earrings.And from the shape and craftsmanship of earrings,it can be seen that there was already a phenomenon of cultural exchange between China and the West at that time;the development and evolution of neck ornaments showed two main characteristics:closely interlocking with the ceremonial culture and moving down the wearing position.ChapterⅣ:Through the classification overview of the preceding article and combined with representative jewelry,the aesthetic ideas embodied in the jewelry of the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties are discussed from the changes in the style of modeling and the meaning of ornamentation.The aesthetic ideas embodied in it can probably be summarized into four points:the condensation of the instrument,the unity of "text" and "quality",the idea of moderation,and the "harmony" and "union"Chapter Ⅴ:Based on the previous discussion,combined with the philosophical thoughts of the era,it is summarized and summarized that the design thinking contained in the jewelry of the Xia Shang Zhou period mainly includes four kinds of object-taking,romantic imagination,small-scale and inclusive,and derives the thinking of modern design thinking from it.Finally,the results,shortcomings and prospects of this paper are presented in the concluding section.
