| Logistics industry is the "blood" of our national economic development.It provides logistics services for all walks of life and plays an important service function and support role in the whole social economic system.In 2021,the total revenue of China’s logistics industry reached 11.9 trillion yuan,an increase of 1.4 trillion yuan over2020,with a year-on-year growth of 13.33%,showing rapid development.However,considering the current situation,there are still some problems in Chinese logistics industry,such as high cost,high energy consumption,low efficiency,lack of talents,unbalanced development,etc.The coastal areas have good geographical advantages and logistics industry agglomeration,and these problems emerge in an endless stream.Therefore,it is extremely important to study the development of green logistics industry in Chinese coastal areas.However,most of the existing literature focuses on the study of green total factor productivity of logistics industry nationwide or in individual provinces and cities,and few scholars study the development of green total factor productivity of logistics industry in coastal areas.This paper studies the measurement and analysis of GTFP of logistics industry along our coastal area,in order to promote the high-quality development of green logistics industry along our coastal area and provide some reference for our country’s green logistics industry development along our coastal area.Firstly,the research background and significance of GTFP in logistics industry in Chinese coastal areas are summarized.Then the related concept,theoretical basis and literature are summarized by literature analysis method,and the methods of studying the total factor productivity(TFP)and GTFP in existing literatures are summarized.Secondly,we have analyzed the current situation of logistics industry in Chinese coastal areas,then constructed the input-output index system of logistics industry in Chinese coastal areas.Using the Traditional DEA model and SBM-DEA model,we have measured the static efficiency of logistics industry in Chinese coastal areas from 2004 to 2019.The non-parametric Malmquist index method based on DEA was used to measure the change of GTFP index of logistics industry in coastal areas of China during 2004-2018,and the calculation results and reasons of each province,city and region were obtained.Finally,OLS regression method of panel data is adopted to take the level of residents’ consumption,the efficiency of waterway transportation,the efficiency of port transportation,the intensity of environmental regulations,the level of foreign investment,the efficiency of waterway transportation,the level of urbanization,and the level of informatization as the influencing factors and carry out empirical analysis,so as to give some targeted suggestions.The results show that:(1)The added value of GDP,logistics industry and tertiary industry in coastal areas of our country have increased greatly,and showed a steady increase trend,but energy consumption and carbon emissions are also growing year by year.(2)The environmental efficiency value of logistics industry in Chinese coastal areas is always lower than the traditional efficiency value,and the three coastal areas are in order: north,central and south.(3)From 2004 to 2019,the dynamic GTFP index of logistics industry in China’s coastal areas showed an increasing trend,and the pure technical efficiency index,return to scale index and pure technical change index all increased,while the scale technical change index slightly decreased.The top three coastal regions are central,southern and northern.From the provincial perspective,the logistics GTFP index level of coastal provinces and cities is good,except Tianjin,the other 10 provinces and cities have different degrees of improvement.From the time and space analysis of representative year,the development situation of logistics industry is still severe,and the progress space is great.(4)Residents’ consumption level,water transport efficiency,port transport efficiency,environmental regulation intensity and foreign investment level have a significant negative effect on GTFP of logistics industry in coastal areas.The urbanization level and marketization level have a significant positive effect on it,while the information level has a negative effect on it,but not significant. |
