Research And Application Of Yi Ethnic Group "Cuo Taiji" Costume Culture

"Cuo Tai Ji" is an ancient Yi opera,expressing the worship of ancestors by the Yi people.As a national intangible cultural heritage,it is the condensation and expression of the traditional culture of the Yi ethnic group and has high cultural value.Its masks,costumes and other related aspects have a strong cultural character,which is a microcosm of the ancient ethnic culture of the Yi people.This dynamic ethnic cultural symbol attracts contemporary audiences in an ancient,mysterious and simple form,and has a strong inspiration for the creativity and design of fashion design.This study takes the props of "Cou Tai Ji" costumes as the research object,takes cultural exploration and demonstration as the research path,and conducts in-depth research on the form,symbolism and application of "Cou Tai Ji" costumes for the purpose of creative costume design and production.Firstly,the literature research method,field investigation and analysis method were used to conduct a series of studies and demonstrations on the original form,cultural connotation and inheritance status of "Cou Tai Ji",sort out the origin and development context of "Cou Tai Ji",and summarize the situation of "Cou Tai Ji" in inheritance and development in recent years.Secondly,it will go deep into the appearance,shape,meaning and transmutation of the costume props of "Cou Tai Ji",explore the ideas and methods of the creative design of "Cou Tai Ji" costumes,and point out the problems that need to be solved urgently.Finally,through the practical method,the elements of "Cou Tai Ji" are refined and optimized,combined with modern creative women’s clothing,the traditional "Cou Tai Ji" symbol is modernly interpreted,the simple and original characteristics of "Cou Tai Ji" are retained,the intersection of tradition and fashion is explored from the aspects of silhouette,style and details,and the various possibilities of combining new concepts,new materials and traditional culture of clothing are explored,and the application value of its patterns,colors and symbols in creative clothing design is condensed.The design and production of a series of women’s clothing design has achieved the purpose of reapplying traditional ethnic cultural symbols.After theoretical and practical research,it is pointed out that creative optimization of clothing design is one of the favorable ways to develop "Cou Tai Ji" clothing.The unique symbolic beauty and artistic characteristics of "Cou Tai Ji" are diversified with the history of Yi ancient paintings,traditional patterns of the Yi ethnic group,clothing styles and craftsmanship,and creative clothing design is carried out in combination with fashion trends,and modern creative design methods are effectively used to provide support for the clothing design of "Cou Tai Ji",which is conducive to the development and dissemination of "Cou Tai Ji" culture.
