Research On The Development And Application Of Traditional Tie-dye Art In Modern Clothing Design

For a country or a nation,the inheritance of history,art and culture is the most important.What it shows is the connotation of a country or a nation.For a nation,it is the traditional national handicraft that carries the national history and culture.This is also some intangible culture that can be passed down from generation to generation.With the progress of science and technology and the improvement of people's aesthetic requirements,many excellent national handicrafts have been improved or even abandoned,which is a great loss for a nation's cultural heritage.Tie dyeing is a national handicraft that has been passed down for a long time in China.Tie dyeing itself exists all over the world as a process.There has been a very brilliant period in the process of inheritance in China.For example,in the heyday of the Sui and Tang Dynasties,tie dye technology of our country ranks in the forefront of the world,and has been inherited in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and has a certain scale in the Republic of China.As a witness of history and culture,we are obliged to inherit tie dyeing technology,protect and develop it.On the premise of summarizing the research status of tie dye at home and abroad,this paper provides the necessary theoretical basis for this paper.Then the formation and development of the traditional tie dyeing process arediscussed.This paper mainly discusses the application of traditional tie dyeing art in modern clothing design.The corresponding manufacturing process is introduced from different performance styles.Finally,it introduces the recreation and development trend of tie dye art in modern fashion design.
