At present,China’s manufacturing industry is developing towards intelligence and digitization,and the transformation and upgrading of the industry will inevitably be accompanied by an increase in the quantity and quality of talent demand.The classroom is the main battlefield for talent cultivation and the key to teaching,while preparing for classes is the prerequisite for good teaching.Therefore,research on instructional design is an important foundation for improving the quality of talent cultivation.As the core course of CNC technology application major,"Programming and Operation of Multi axis CNC Machine Tools" is particularly important for cultivating students’ professional abilities.However,current classroom teaching cannot effectively improve students’ core abilities,and teaching effectiveness cannot be guaranteed.How to change teaching methods,optimize course teaching design,and gradually improve teaching quality is an urgent research topic.This study is based on the project-based teaching method and explores and practices the teaching design of the course "Multi axis CNC Machine Tool Programming and Operation" in vocational schools.Firstly,conduct a survey on the current teaching situation of the course "Programming and Operation of Multi axis CNC Machine Tools" in vocational schools,analyze the existing problems,and propose corresponding solutions: select teaching projects based on the actual needs of enterprise positions;Design project teaching process based on work process;Constructing a diversified evaluation system;The writing of teaching design is standardized and specific.Before conducting teaching design,conduct research and analysis on the work process and ability requirements of operators in CNC enterprises,providing a basis for project selection,determination of project learning tasks,and design of project teaching processes.Secondly,in combination with the curriculum standards and the relevant theoretical basis of systematics,communication,constructivism,etc.,a detailed curriculum project teaching design was carried out from six aspects: learner analysis,curriculum content analysis,curriculum goal formulation,curriculum teaching process design,curriculum teaching resources design,curriculum teaching evaluation design,and a project teaching design scheme was formed,And take the teaching design of the "Hercules Cup" processing project as an example to demonstrate the project teaching design.Finally,in order to test the effectiveness of the constructed teaching design,a ten-week teaching practice was conducted at F City Vocational and Technical School in Guangdong Province.By analyzing the course scores,student project outputs,and student satisfaction questionnaire results of the experimental and control groups,it can be seen that students’ abilities in all aspects have been effectively improved.The research results indicate that the teaching design scheme designed in this study has a high acceptance among students.After implementing the project-based teaching method,students’ active participation in the course significantly increases,and their stage assessment and final assessment scores are significantly improved.Students’ self-directed learning and cooperation abilities are comprehensively improved in project-based learning,and their professional literacy is more prominent.Students’ comprehensive performance is excellent,The overall teaching effect is satisfactory.
