Research On The Improvement Of Farmers’ Ecological Literacy

From the point of view of sustainable development,the construction of ecological civilization is directly related to the sustainable development of the Chinese nation.China is an agricultural country with a vast rural area.As the main beneficiaries and protectors of the rural ecological environment,farmers’ ecological literacy level is directly related to the good condition of the rural ecological environment and affects the level of ecological civilization construction in rural areas.Farmers are major contributors to promoting the development of green industries and building beautiful socialist countryside with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to improve farmers’ ecological literacy and form a social fashion of loving nature and consciously protecting the ecological environment in rural areas for the construction of an ecologically livable beautiful countryside and the further realization of the long-term goal of building a beautiful China.Starting from the connotation of ecological literacy,this study determined the overall idea and content of the research by combing relevant literature.On the basis of preliminary research,Y Town is finally determined as the research site.A total of 550 questionnaires were sent out and 535 were recovered,among which 524 were valid for research.Finally,based on the first-hand data combined with the author’s field visits to the village for many times,the actual situation of ecological literacy of farmers in Y Town was analyzed.Through the research,it is found that there are some positive places in the ecological literacy of farmers in Y Town,farmers have a certain degree of ecological awareness and ecological participation.At the same time,there are still some problems: systematic lack of ecological knowledge;Lack of ecological moral emotion;Ecological behavior needs to be guided;Serious utilitarianism of ecological values.Based on the problems found above,this study deeply explores the various reasons affecting the improvement of farmers’ ecological literacy from the individual level,the social level and the national level,and finally the author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve farmers’ ecological literacy from the perspective of farmers’ main body,grassroots party organization construction,rural ecological governance system and ecological publicity and education.For example:(1)stimulate the ecological needs of farmers and strengthen their own construction;(2)Consolidate the building of primary-level Party organizations and give full play to the advantages of Party members and officials;(3)Innovate the rural ecological governance system and create rural ecological space;(4)Strengthen ecological education and publicity,and enhance farmers’ awareness of ecological responsibility.
