| Strengthening the protection of cultivated land quality is not only an important measure to guarantee the national food security,realize the sustainable utilization of cultivated land resources and promote the transformation of agriculture from "quantity" to "quality",but also an important link to accelerate the construction of ecological civilization.However,in recent years,the quality of cultivated land in China has been deteriorating,and the situation of cultivated land quality protection has become increasingly grim.As the main body of micro-behavior in agricultural production,farmers are the most direct participants and stakeholders in the protection of cultivated land,and their behavior of cultivated land quality protection plays an important role in improving and promoting cultivated land quality,but the cultivated land quality protection behavior and the individual accomplishment are closely related.Therefore,this paper studies farmers’ cultivated land quality protection behavior from the perspective of environmental literacy,which has important practical and theoretical significance.The purpose of this paper is to expound and analyze the relationship between information capability,environmental quality and farm household’s cultivated land quality protection behavior,and to explore the effective ways to promote farm household’s cultivated land quality protection behavior.Based on 465 valid questionnaires in Linzhou,Henan province,this paper used binary logistic model to test the effects of environmental literacy on fertilization,pesticide application and deep tillage and subsoiling.Secondly,the Heckman sample selection model was used to analyze the impact of farmers’ environmental literacy on their cultivated land quality protection behavior,including whether farmers implement cultivated land quality protection behavior and the extent to which farmers implement cultivated land quality protection.Finally,on this basis,the adjustment of information capacity in the relationship between farmers’ environmental literacy and their cultivated land quality protection behavior was examined by using the group regression model.The results showed that:(1)farmers’ environmental literacy had different degrees of positive effects on Farmers’ pesticide application behavior,fertilization behavior and deep tillage and subsoiling behavior.In the impact of farmers’ environmental literacy on whether farmers implement cultivated land quality protection behavior and implementation degree,farmers’ environmental cognition,farmers’ environmental values and farmers’ environmental skills have a significant positive effect on whether farmers implement cultivated land quality protection behavior and implementation degree,while farmers’ environmental emotion only has a significant positive impact on whether farmers implement cultivated land quality protection behavior.In addition,factors such as gender,age,years of education and the proportion of agricultural income also have varying degrees of impact on Farmers’ cultivated land quality protection behavior.(2)Farmers’ information ability plays a regulatory role in the relationship between farmers’ environmental literacy and farmers’ cultivated land quality protection behavior.When farmers have high information ability,farmers have strong ability to obtain,transform and process information.This ability makes it easier for farmers to understand the benefits of cultivated land quality protection behavior,It is also more inclined to implement cultivated land quality protection in the process of agricultural production.(3)In order to promote farmers to implement cultivated land quality protection,we should improve farmers’ environmental literacy and mobilize farmers’ enthusiasm for cultivated land quality protection;We should broaden the channels for farmers to obtain information and improve their ability to deal with environmental information;We should improve the relevant policies,regulations and systems of cultivated land quality protection,so as to provide reference for standardizing farmers’ production behavior and alleviating cultivated land pollution. |
