Research On Pet Furniture Design Based On Green Design Concept

In recent years,with the acceleration of urbanization,fast-paced and high pressure have permeated people’s lives,and pets have become companions to solve people’s emotional problems.As the number of pets continues to grow,with it comes a growing demand for pet furniture.Nowadays,the pet furniture in the market has more or less problems that violate the concept of sustainable development from design and production,commodity circulation,installation and use to waste recycling.In this context,this paper proposes the design of pet furniture based on the concept of green design.Take pet furniture design as the main line,conduct detailed research on furniture and pet furniture with green design concept at home and abroad,summarize the problems in pet furniture design;explore the principles of green design,and analyze the life-cycle,modular,disassembling and humanized design methods of pet furniture design under the green design concept;Through collecting data and analyzing research,we understand the basic characteristics of pets and pet owners,classify pet furniture,summarize the relationship between pets,pet owners and pet furniture as well as home environment,and study the elements of function,form,structure,material and color of pet furniture design under the green design concept;through questionnaires and interviews,we combine the target users’ views on existing pet furniture and explore the The feasibility of pet furniture under the green design concept was explored by means of questionnaires and interviews,combined with the target users’ views on the existing pet furniture,the whole process of using the green design concept in the pet furniture design was sorted out,and the pet furniture design strategy based on the green design concept was summarized;the product was positioned and designed and the design practice was completed.Green design concept for the purpose of creating a more harmonious relationship between people and pets and the living environment furniture,but also for the pet furniture pollution of the environment and the waste of resources to provide a solution to the problem,reflecting the green environmental protection,human and nature in harmony with the concept of sustainable development.
