| After several years of development,China’s highway network construction has been relatively complete,with the overall coverage rate of the highway network reaching a certain level,and the level of highway construction is also high,but certain problems have also been exposed.In recent years,the traffic safety accidents in China have not been greatly alleviated,and there is still a large number of deaths.Analyzing the causes of these traffic accidents can reveal that some traffic accidents can be avoided or mitigated.In recent years,the issue of highway safety hazards has received national attention,and relevant policies and regulations have been introduced.However,the effectiveness of troubleshooting and rectification work for hidden dangers is average.This is due to the different traffic environments,construction conditions,and composition of traffic participants in different regions,as well as the uneven level of members of the working group for the investigation and rectification of highway safety hazards,leading to problems such as slow effectiveness and poor governance effectiveness in the investigation and rectification work.Firstly,the research background of highway safety hazards is introduced.The current academic research mainly focuses on traffic safety evaluation and the identification and evaluation of traffic accident black spots and frequent spots.There is relatively little research on highway safety hazards,so conducting risk assessment of highway safety hazards has important research significance.Secondly,the theoretical analysis of highway safety hazards is conducted from four aspects,namely,highway alignment,driving environment,safety facilities,intersections,and roadside openings,to elaborate the impact on traffic accidents and traffic safety.Then,use univariate regression analysis and binary logistic model to conduct correlation regression analysis on traffic accident data and safety hazard data,and analyze the safety hazards that have a significant impact on the occurrence of highway traffic accidents.Then,referring to current relevant literature and scholars’ research results,construct an evaluation index system for traffic safety hazards,quantify the risk level of highway safety hazards indicators in combination with national and local regulations and research results in relevant papers,select the matterelement extension comprehensive evaluation method to conduct highway safety hazards risk assessment,and use a combination assignment method to assign the weight of highway safety hazards indicators,Thereby improving the reliability of the hidden danger indicator weight.Finally,a case study was conducted to analyze the risk level of safety hazards for a certain highway section in a certain area using the matter-element extension comprehensive evaluation model.In this paper,a matter element extension comprehensive evaluation model based on AHP variable weight theory is proposed,and an evaluation index system for highway safety hazards is constructed to evaluate the risk of highway safety hazards.It provides certain theoretical support for the investigation and treatment of highway safety hazards,and also provides reference methods for the investigation and treatment of safety hazards,which is of great significance for preventing and reducing the occurrence of traffic accidents. |
