Economic Benefit Analysis Of Green Transformation Of Asia Cement (China) Holdings Corporation

Since the first environmental protection conference was held in the 1970 s,the promulgation of the new Environmental Protection Law in 2014,and the twenty major reports put forward that promoting green development is an inherent requirement for comprehensively building a modern socialist country.As one of the16 heavily polluting industries,cement enterprises should take the initiative to take the road of green transformation and sustainable development,including the emission of waste gas and the consumption of resources,which has become the bottleneck restricting their sustainable development.Green transformation should be included in the strategic planning of enterprise development,and the road of green transformation will have a certain impact on the economic benefits of enterprises.Therefore,this thesis selects Asia Cement(China)as a case enterprise to analyze its economic benefits of green transformation.This thesis firstly combed the relevant theories and literature of green transformation of enterprises,revealed the evaluation methods and economic consequences of green transformation of China’s cement industry,then selected Asia Cement(China)as a case for analysis,elaborated its green transformation status,analyzed its green transformation motivations,and summarized the main measures of green transformation.Under the background that the whole cement industry is paying more and more attention to the green transformation strategy,In this thesis,three methods,including cost-benefit analysis,traditional financial index analysis and green EVA evaluation method,are adopted to specifically analyze the impact of clay(China)’s green transformation on economic benefits.It is found that the implementation of green transformation can significantly enhance the corporate image,promote R&D and innovation,and increase corporate value.In the long run,it can also significantly promote the economic benefits of enterprises.To sum up,the advantages of taking the path of sustainable green transformation outweigh the disadvantages.Finally,based on the inspiration of Asia Cement(China)case,from the perspective of enterprises,the corresponding suggestions are put forward,that is,enterprises should firm the idea of green transformation,adhere to scientific and technological innovation driven,optimize the management system and mechanism,strengthen the disclosure of environmental information.
