Study On The Influence Of Tourism Volunteering On Tourists’ Environmentally Responsible Behavior

Tourism development plays a positive role in promoting local economic growth,increasing the income of employees and so on.However,it also brings many environmental problems to the scenic spots,which is closely related to the scale growth of tourists and tourists’ uncivilized behavior.It has become an important means for tourism destinations to achieve sustainable development and reduce uncivilized behaviors by stimulating tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior through environmental education,environmental interpretation,and volunteer guidance.In this process,the impact of public services provided by tourism volunteers in civilization guidance,tour explanation,environmental maintenance,quality supervision,and other fields on tourists’ environmental responsibility behavior is worthy of in-depth discussion.Based on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs,Broken Window Theory and Theory of Planned Behavior,this paper takes Danxia Mountain scenic spot in Shaoguan City,Guangdong Province as the research object,collects data through questionnaire,and analyzes the questionnaire data by correlation analysis,regression analysis and other methods to examine the impact of tourism volunteer service on tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior.The results show that:(1)The surveyed tourists in Danxia Mountain have a strong intention of environmental responsibility behavior;but there are some irresponsible behaviors or tendencies;(2)According to Pearson correlation analysis,civilization guidance,tour explanation,environmental maintenance and quality supervision provided by tourism volunteers are strongly correlated with tourists’ intention of environmental responsibility behavior;According to the regression analysis,civilization guidance,tour explanation and environmental maintenance have a significant positive impact on tourists’ intention of environmental responsibility behavior.The quality supervision has no significant impact on tourists’ environmental responsibility behavior.This paper puts forward corresponding specific measures and feasible suggestions for the construction and service development of tourism volunteers in Mount Danxia.Firstly,the organization construction and management of tourism volunteers should be strengthened,and the recruitment and training mechanism of volunteers should be improved.Secondly,tourism volunteers should strengthen the service of civilization guidance and tour explanation to tourists and how to maintain the environment;Lastly,the evaluation and incentive mechanism of tourism volunteers should be established and improved,and the service activities of volunteers should be summarized and reflected in time and publicized.In the whole process of tourism volunteer service,it is necessary to establish and perfect the tourism volunteer security system,and provide security for volunteers in terms of policies and funds.
