With the increasing attention to environmental protection,the cost-effective and low-pollution characteristics of vacuum sputtering coating will become the mainstream technology in the surface treatment industry.Also,it will be widely used in the fields of solar photovoltaic,automotive,semiconductor and aerospace,etc.Especially with the popularization and application of 5G technology,the industry has been in a period of strategic and rapid development.The products of intelligent manufacturing production line represent a transformation and upgrade of the traditional vacuum coating production method,which realizes the intelligentizing of the whole production process.This actively demonstrates that there is a greatly improvement of the efficiency of equipment and product quality.This will provide a new technical path to the industry development.This paper takes Hongda Vacuum’s annual strategic new product-vacuum sputtering intelligent manufacturing production line as the research object,analyzes and researches high-end equipment intelligent manufacturing production line products,summarizes and condenses the design highlights of the appearance and function of the vacuum sputtering industry,explores the breakthrough point of industrial design innovation of these products,and constructs the product identification language of Hongda Vacuum.It contains characteristic forms,color language and standard parts,which provides the basis for the construction of product identification specification system of Hongda Vacuum,improves the overall design competitiveness of this project,and creates intelligent manufacturing benchmark products in the field of vacuum sputtering coating.The successful implementation of industrial design project by Hongda Vacuum as a leading enterprise in the industry will certainly promote the recognition of industrial design value in the whole industry and has important promotion significance.In this paper,we firstly research background and project source of vacuum sputtering technology,including the study of its background conditions,technical route,and development direction.In addition,it analyse and assess of project task requirements and mission statements to define the project development task flow.Moreover,it conducts technical analysis,market analysis and fieldwork,summarize the characteristics of the industry and brand identity,and propose overall product design ideas.Secondly,the conceptual design of the vacuum sputtering intelligent manufacturing line was carried out,using the brainstorming method that proposes the "adjective" and "imagery style version" method.After one round of creative sketching and two rounds of effect design and optimization process,the teams finally completes the concept design of the project.Finally,the structural design of the vacuum sputtering intelligent manufacturing line was carried out.After preliminary design,the first round of structural design and optimization and the second round of structural design and optimization,analysis,definition and implementation of the product forming process,surface treatment and standard parts selection,etc.,issued standard production documents,prototype production including product forming,surface treatment,test assembly and rectification.The specific innovation points of this study are,firstly,the design concept of modular design of vacuum sputtering intelligent manufacturing production line is proposed;secondly,the project model of collaborative innovation between industrial design and engineering design is constructed;finally,the industrial design module is systematically embedded into the project development process in the industrial equipment industry.At present,the prototype of this project has been basically installed,it has been recognized and affirmed by the project party of Hongda Vacuum.This project is expected to be launched to the market in the first half of 2023.
