Nanjing Yunjin Brocade is an outstanding representative of jacquard fabric in China and a brilliant crystallization of Chinese silk culture.The beautiful patterns of Yunjin are the most intuitive manifestation of Yunjin art.The Qing Dynasty was the heyday of the development of cloud brocade.The patterns of cloud brocade in the Qing Dynasty absorbed the essence of the previous dynasties.An in-depth study of cloud brocade patterns in Qing Dynasty is helpful for designers to master the essence of cloud brocade art,create new patterns in line with the characteristics of The Times,and better integrate them into modern design life,so as to promote the spread of cloud brocade art and improve the popularity and reputation of Nanjing cloud brocade.Based on the perspectives of design science,this paper analyzes the classic Yunjin patterns of the Qing Dynasty through literature summary,historical context sorting,practice investigation,case analysis and other research methods.The research content is from the most basic pattern,transition to the meaning behind the pattern,and the summary of its artistic modeling characteristics.Finally,the perceptual cognition of the pattern is transformed into rational cognition,and the historical and cultural connotation and creative concept behind it are thoroughly interpreted.The existing formula of design law is sorted out.This paper analyzes the inheritance,innovation and development of contemporary cloud brocade in patterns,art forms and weaving techniques,and discusses the digital protection and development of cloud brocade patterns and weaving techniques by referring to the digital research and protection experience of related intangible cultural heritage.
