Land Use/Cover Change Characteristics And Influencing Factors Analysis In The Yellow River Basin

Land use/cover change is an important representation of the interaction between man and nature,and has an important impact on ecological environment.The Yellow River Basin is one of the most prominent areas of contradiction between man and land in China,and it is also an important area of human activities and economic development.In recent years,ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin has become an important national strategy and a hot spot in current research.Based on land use/cover change in the Yellow River Basin,the study of its change characteristics and driving forces is of great significance and application research value for protecting land resources in the basin,ensuring agricultural development,coordinating economic and social development and ecological and environmental effects.This paper selected 7 CLCD data sets of China’s land use/cover with a resolution of 30 m from 1990 to 2020,and processed the Arcgis10.7 to obtain the dynamic information of land use/cover in the Yellow River Basin.Using the land use/cover change speed model,land use degree model,land use/cover spatial change model and land use/cover change regional difference model,the overall characteristics,dynamic characteristics and regional difference characteristics of land use/cover change in the Yellow River Basin were comprehensively analyzed.Based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis method,the factors affecting land use/cover change in the Yellow River Basin during 2000-2020 were analyzed by combining the social and economic data of provinces and cities,DEM spatial distribution data(90m),temperature,precipitation and sunshine data.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Land use/cover change in the Yellow River Basin has obvious spatio-temporal differences.The land use/cover structure is mainly grassland and cultivated land,accounting for 64% of the total area,supplemented by barren land and forest land,accounting for 13% and 16% of the total area,respectively.Arable,shrub and infertile land area decreased,while woodland,water,impervious water,grassland,wetland and ice/snow area increased.(2)The land use/cover change in the Yellow River Basin is in the development stage,and the provinces in the Yellow River Basin have different development stages.The land use/cover change of the Yellow River Basin in Shanxi Province,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,Shaanxi Province and Qinghai Province is in the period of adjustment or decline.The land use/cover change of the Yellow River Basin in Shandong Province,Henan Province,Gansu Province and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is in the developing stage.(3)The concentration degree of land use/cover types in the Yellow River Basin is significantly concentrated,the transformation characteristics are dominant,and the direction of gravity center migration trajectory is different.The overall change of different land classes was small except for weeding land and barren land.In the different provinces of the Yellow River Basin,the regional differences are mainly affected by concentration degree and area distribution.Arable land,grassland,woodland,impervious surface,and water alternated with each other,while infertile land and shrub area were always shifting out.The center of gravity of cultivated land migrated to the east,grassland,barren land,woodland and shrub migrated to the west and north,and impervious surface center of gravity migrated to the northwest.(4)The main influencing factors of land use/cover types in the Yellow River Basin are different,and there are interactions among the influencing factors.Climate factor,population factor,total agricultural output value and total industrial output value are the main factors affecting land use/cover change,and the influence degree of social and economic factors gradually increases over time.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify the direction and characteristics of land use/cover type change in the Yellow River Basin and implement land use policies according to local conditions.In order to promote the concept of sustainable development and promote the high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: First,improve the quality of land,strengthen land protection,and improve the efficiency of land use.Second,we should coordinate agricultural modernization and urbanization development,and promote industrial restructuring and high-quality development.Ecological restoration and protection measures should be taken to improve the ecological value of land and protect the ecological environment.Finally,scientific management and policy guidance should be strengthened to achieve the purpose of sustainable utilization and development.
