With the increasing demand for functional textiles,the color demand for fabrics is not only practical but also diversified and multi-functional,thus researchers at home and abroad have been studying photochromic textiles more and more.In this thesis,we propose to combine spiro-pyran compounds with fabrics by direct dyeing and coating printing to produce photochromic cotton fabrics with special properties.In this thesis,four spiro-pyrans were designed and synthesized,including MC-NO2,MC-SO3 Na and MC-OH,which are water-soluble spiro-pyrans with inverse photochromic effect,and SP-C=C,which is non-water-soluble spiro-pyran with positive photochromic effect.NMR hydrogen spectroscopy,NMR carbon spectroscopy,liquid-phase mass spectrometry,infrared spectroscopy,and UV-vis absorption spectroscopy were used to determine the structures of the synthesized compounds,after which the synthesized spiro-pyran-like photochromic compounds were combined with cotton fabrics by dyeing and printing to prepare photochromic cotton fabric textiles with special properties.(1)Among the synthesized spiro-pyrans with water-soluble color-changing properties in water,MC-NO2 has the best color-changing effect,MC-SO3 Na has a slightly worse effect,and MC-OH has the worst color-changing effect due to the influence of functional groups.The water solubility of spiro-pyran compounds makes them more convenient for dye applications.The synthesized water-soluble spiro-pyran compounds were used as direct dyes and dyed by rolling and dyeing with the help of the affinity of the dye for cellulose fibers,i.e.,the formation of hydrogen bonds and intermolecular forces,and the prepared MC-NO2 photochromic dyed cotton fabric reached its lightest color after 12 s of green light irradiation and returned to its initial state after 36 h at room temperature in the dark.The color of the MC-SO3 Na photochromic dyed cotton fabric was lightest after 50 s of green light irradiation and returned to the initial state in the dark for 10 h at room temperature.This shows that both of them have excellent photochromic properties.(2)The positive photochromic cotton fabric prepared by slurry coating printing with SP-C=C,a synthetic spiro-pyran compound with positive photochromic properties,reached its darkest color after 3 s of UV light irradiation and returned to its initial state in 4 h at dark room temperature,while the reverse photochromic cotton fabric prepared by slurry coating printing with MC-NO2 reached its lightest color after 15 s of green light irradiation and returned to its initial state in 16 h at dark room temperature.The color returned to the initial state after 16 h of dark room temperature.Water-soluble spiropyran was directly dyed on the fabric by dyeing,and water-soluble spiropyran and non-water-soluble spiropyran were printed on the cotton fabric by coating.The whole preparation process has low requirements for equipment,simple and easy to obtain,and is suitable for industrial mass production.The prepared photochromic cotton fabric has good photochromic performance,and also has good anti-UV performance,which has good application prospect in the direction of anti-UV fabric,and the photochromic cotton fabric has information encryption function,which has different applications according to the different positive and negative photochromic,for example,the pattern or information to be encrypted is printed on the cotton fabric through the slurry,and by green light or UV light,the The pattern and information disappear or appear,so as to achieve the effect of information encryption;if two kinds of spiro-pyran with different color-changing effects are printed on the same fabric at the same time,the effect of showing different information according to different light sources or thermal stimulation can be achieved.Therefore,the prepared photochromic cotton fabrics have potential applications in the fields of information encryption,pattern storage,and military technology. |
