Multi-component "one-pot" synthesis reaction has a series of advantages such as high efficiency,simple steps,environment friendly,atom economy and so on,which is a green and efficient synthesis method in organic synthesis.In this paper,a novel basic ionic liquid 2-hydroxyethyl ammonium acetate[H3N+CH2CH2OH][CH3COO-](HEAA)as a catalyst,isatin/ninhydrin/acenaphthenequinone,malononitrile/ethyl cyanoacetate/phenylsulfonylacetonitrile and a series of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds as the substrate,via "one-pot" reaction synthesis a series of spiro-pyrane derivatives which poss very important biological activities and pharmacological activities.This paper firstly introduces the definition of ionic liquid,and its types,properties and synthesis route.Summarized the present research situation on multi-component reaction synthesis of spiro heterocyclic pyran compounds,and then leads to the research direction.Secondly,using HEAA as catalyst and under ethanol reflux,isatin/acenaphthenequinone,malononitrile/ethyl cyanoacetate and a series of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds via three component "one-pot" synthesis a series of spiro-indoles and spiro-pyran derivatives.Then through substitution reaction synthesis of phenylsulfonylacetonitrile which contains sulfone structure,and as a substrate,a series of novel spiro-2-amino-3-phenylsulfonyl-4H-pyrans derivatives were synthesized via the three components,one pot reaction of phenylsulfonylacetonitrile and 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds with isatins or acenaphthenequinone in ethanol with basic ionic liquid HEAA as catalyst.Finally,studied an efficient one-pot two-step synthesis of novel 2’-aminospiro[indeno[2,1-b]quinoxaline-11,4’-pyran]derivatives by four-component reaction of ninhydrin,benzene-1,2-diamine,malononitrile/ethyl cyanoacetate or phenylsulfonylacetonitrile and a-methylencarbonyl compounds/enols in ethanol with a novel basic ionic liquid HEAAas catalyst.Experiments show that:HEAA was found to be a suitable and efficient catalyst for this condensation.This new protocol has the advantages of environmental friendliness,higher yields,shorter reaction times and convenient operation.Multi-component "one-pot" reaction catalyzed by HEAA,can easily synthesis complex structure of the spiro-pyran compounds,and it provides a green synthetic method.And the new products were characterized by melting point,IR,1H NMR,13C NMR spectral data,low-resolution mass spectra and high-resolution mass spectra.
