| With a large population in China,the number of people with disabilities is also quite large.In recent years,the whole society has attached great importance to the cause of people with disabilities,safeguarding their basic livelihood in many ways,improving their quality of life and promoting their all-round development.However,people with disabilities have special needs in terms of clothing,food,housing and transportation,especially in terms of clothing.The changes in the bodies of people with lower limb disabilities require special adaptive functions and structures in clothing,and their different body shapes also make them have higher expectations for personalised aesthetics in clothing.However,the field of clothing for people with disabilities in China is still in its infancy and there are various unresolved issues.Currently,the majority of clothing for people with disabilities on the market places a one-sided emphasis on functionality,while failing to meet the needs of people with disabilities in terms of expression and aesthetics.In previous studies,research on the design of adaptive functional garments for people with lower limb disabilities has not yet been fully developed in China.Therefore,research on adaptive functional clothing for people with lower limb disabilities is particularly necessary.In order to further improve the adaptive,comfort,aesthetics,functionality and ease of donning and doffing of garments for people with lower limb disabilities,this project uses the Functional,Expressive and Aesthetic(FEA)model as the theoretical framework for the study,with people with lower limb disabilities as the main target.Firstly,the research background of this project is explained,the current research status of adaptive clothing for people with disabilities at home and abroad and the future market development trend of adaptive functional clothing in China are analysed,and the research objectives and design directions are clarified.Secondly,through the analysis of the psychological and physiological characteristics of people with lower limb disabilities and their behavioural characteristics,the research focuses on summarising the adaptive dressing needs of people with lower limb disabilities and the issues considered when designing adaptive functional clothing for people with lower limb disabilities.The design principles and design strategies for adaptive garments for people with lower limb disabilities were also determined through field research and online questionnaire surveys.Finally,through the experimental analysis of the adaptive functional clothing design,the theory is applied to the practical process,and the problems encountered by people with lower limb disabilities in the actual wearing process and the wearing experience are carefully discussed and modified,and conclusions are drawn.It is also expected that on the basis of this research,the development path of adaptive functional clothing design suitable for people with disabilities in China will be explored,and will provide reference and reference for subsequent related research. |
