Development And Research Of Functional Clothing For People With Lower Limb Disabilities

The issue of disabled people and their clothing has always been a matter of great concern and concern in society.With the "people-oriented" concept of barrier-free design,it continues to penetrate the hearts of the people and the harmonious society.It is a meaningful job to pay attention to and study the design of the clothes for the physically disabled.People with a handicapped person is the subject of this study.The daily life of wheelchair users is classified as a sedentary type by classifying the person with a handicapped person.It has a range of motion compared to the long-standing type.It also lacks some flexibility,and because the long sitting state causes changes in some parts of the body,the incompatibility and inconvenience of the existing clothing are more obvious.This article focuses on the development of functional pants for the needs of wheelchair users.AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)and PUGH decision matrix are used to prioritize the design schemes.Through subjective and objective evaluations,the three sample garments,the ordinary model and the preferred two schemes,are compared in terms of putting on and taking off and wearing comfort,and optimizes the design scheme.Through questionnaire survey and partial infrared imaging shooting of clothing to know needs of people with lower limb disabilities,some physiological characteristics and needs of people with lower limb disabilities are obtained.The main manifestations are as follows:(1)There is a significant difference in infrared imaging temperature between the heavy handicapped part and the light handicapped part of the lower limb handicapped;(2)the choice of clothing needs to be improved due to the different use of auxiliary equipment;(3)Existing ready-to-wear can't meet the needs of people with lower limb disabilities.They need to optimize the style and focus more on the convenience of putting on and taking off the clothes;(4)People with disabilities of the lower limbs tend to choose natural fibers in fabric selection,and pay most attention to the moisture absorption,ventilation,heat retention and wear resistance of the fabric.Through the questionnaire survey of theclothing needs from the perspective of the caregiver to obtain his suggestions for the development of clothing for the lower limbs.In the development plan,starting from the two aspects of style and structure design and fabric selection,according to the questionnaire and the basic elements of clothing design,the design influencing factors of the lower limb disabled person's pants are established.And AHP-PUGH is used to complete the selection of the lower limb disabled person's pants design plan.The putting on and taking off experiment,the heat and humidity comfort experiment and the pressure comfort experiment,objectively evaluate the convenience of putting on and taking off and wearing comfort of three samples,and evaluate the comprehensive performance of the three samples by combining the subjective evaluation of the five scales.Through independent sample t-test and K-W test on experimental data,it is found that sample B(the zip in the pants)has the best convenience for putting on and taking off,and it is significantly different from the other two samples;sample C(pleats in the knee and hip)has the best wearing comfort,showing a significant difference from the other two models.It has better warmth and more comfortable clothing pressure.And the warmth of Sample B is the worst,which is related to the way of the larger zipper opening in its front pants.Subjective and objective evaluation results relatively consistent,final results showed that the highest overall score of sample C and two types of clothing is better than the ordinary ones.Through the research in this article,on the one hand,it meets the needs of people with lower limb disabilities for daily comfort and function,and provides theoretical basis and ideas for the design of clothes for people with physical disabilities in the future.On the other hand,The selection and evaluation of sexual clothing design schemes provide a certain reference.
