Curcumin is a kind of polyphenol compound.Its main components are curcumin(cur),Demethoxycurcumin(m-cur)and double Demethoxycurcumin(d-cur).The content of curcumin is generally maintained at about 80%.Ginger butter resin is an orange essential oil extracted from turmeric.It is a concentrated solution of the effective components of natural spices.Both substances are common in people’s life.The research object in this paper(residual liquid of ginger butter resin)is the residual product after extracting ginger butter resin from turmeric.Since the residual liquid contains organic solvent and curcumin when extracting oleoresin,in order to ensure the purpose of green development and residual material recovery,the follow-up treatment is continued.This paper is based on the organic solvent method to extract curcumin from the residual liquid of ginger butter resin.The residual liquid of ginger butter resin is used as the test raw material.By studying the type of solvent,soaking time of residual liquid of oleoresin,solvent concentration and solid-liquid ratio,based on different single factor tests,combined with orthogonal experiments to explore the effects of different factors on the extraction of curcumin.After the crude curcumin was extracted,the extracted components were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by thin layer chromatography(TLC),infrared spectroscopy and high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Finally,the qualitative analysis determined that curcumin(cur)and the other two Curcumins were contained in the crude curcumin.Through the analysis,it can be seen that the content of curcumin accounted for 25.2% and the content of curcumin compounds accounted for 73.6%.After determining the basic components of curcumin crude extract,the best macroporous resin test method for purifying curcumin crude extract was obtained by exploring different kinds of macroporous resin,static and dynamic tests and comparing the test data.Through the above experimental scheme,this paper aims to extract and purify curcumin from ginger butter resin residue,improve the utilization rate of oleoresin residue,and reduce the harm of waste to the environment.Finally,the improvement of curcumin extraction equipment provides an extra idea for the subsequent treatment and transportation of curcumin. |
