Combination And Trasformation

This paper takes the Song Dynasty’s Yanji as the research object,and takes the furniture Swallow Table in the chart as the main subject of study,through the "Yanji"production background,the design thought,the artistic value and so on research,this paper discusses its creative transformation and innovative development in contemporary design.First of all,by studying the historical background of Yan Ji,which was produced under the guidance of the literati’s interest and neo-confucianism in the Song dynasty,the design features of "combination and transformation" in Yanji,the method of"Rectangular",the historical value and the modern value,vertical comparison of Yanji’s derivative furniture——the design of Dieji,Kuangji,horizontal comparison of Zhangwuzhi,Xianqingouji and other literati furniture and Yanji difference,summed up the unique features of Yanji,comb its impact on traditional furnishings design,master its design ideas and cultural core,explore the value and significance of contemporary transformation.Secondly,the design ideas of "combination and transformation" in Yanji are extracted,and examples of modern furniture with these design ideas.Then we look for the relationship between the design of Yanji and the Modular design,by distilling the requirements of the Modular design and the innovative design strategies of traditional furniture,to study how the Yanji in real space conversion and application,exploring the realistic value of Yanji.Finally,this paper put the theory into practice,taking the Song dynasty Yanji as a base,the tea room as the carrier,taking the design idea of "combination and transformation" as the core,from the function,the characteristic and the concrete performance carry on the design practice,refines the the design of Yanji,combined with the modular design method,design some furniture can be flexible changes in accordance with the space.This paper uses the method of literature research to collate and analyze the origin and development of Yanji,and compares Yanji with other ancient Chinese literati furniture,Dieji,Kuangji.The paper sums up the design of Yanji by induction and deduction,study the relationship between Modular design and YAnji,their interaction and influence by systematic research.The design of Yan Ji combines the wisdom of ancient literati.The design idea of"combination and transformation" and the simple shape have important inspiration for the design of modern furniture,it is valuable and meaningful to carry on the modernization transformation to it.
