The air pollution in the car has aroused more and more public concern, car interior air quality is directly related to people’s health, due to the limited space inside the car,especially in middle and low automotive interior materials door fabrics、mats、chairs and a variety of high molecular materials,although the use of ecological processing methods,but still release formaldehyde% acetone、 xylene and other gases.in view of automotive interior materials shortage in this area, as well as improve indoor air quality vehicles,is proposed to release negative ions kenaf automotive interior materials.In this paper, using infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and other methods to test mining tourmaline stone cloth mineralogical characteristics and the ultra-fine powder of tourmaline negative ions produced by the preparation of finishing agents have been studied. added the negative anion finishing agent though pading→hot-rolled-→drying into the fiber,which automotive interiormaterials were made of kenaf which can release negative ion. a new automotive interior material was developed by using kenaf and ES low melting point polyester together with negative ion arrangement. orthogonal method was applied to optimize the parameters as following: negative ion concentration 500 g/L,dipping time 20min, and dip pressing 2 times.The quadratic orthogonal rotational combination design with three factors in SPSS soft-ware was utilized to analyze the relationship between various factors and negative ion releasing amount, and the results of quadratic regression equation was as following: hot pressing temperature 168.9℃; hot pressing time 5.3 min; hot pressing pressure 5.5Mpa and the max releasing amount of negative ion was 1490/cm3.moisture in the air under the conditions of existence, the use of air humidity and vibration friction car generates negative ions to provide energy for sustainable recycling of its release negative ions, in line with GB/T18809-2002, automotive interior materials for the project anion production provide some basis.
