Research On The Application Of Dunhuang Frescoes Form The Tang Dynasty In Fashion Design

In terms of geographic location,Dunhuang is sandwiched between the Tibetan and Mongolian plateaus,connecting the Western and Central Plains,and is a major gateway for East-West exchanges.Its unique geographical location has determined its importance,making Dunhuang an important hub for cultural dissemination and material exchange between the East and West.Historically,Dunhuang has an important strategic military position,as a place of military rivalry,where all the forces are fighting against each other;economically,it is a distribution center for goods from the Central Plains and the Western Regions,and an important gateway on the ancient Silk Road,where merchants from various countries converge and goods from all over the world are displayed and sold;ideologically,Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism ideas collide here,producing a unique "chemical reaction".Tang Dynasty is a prosperous and open dynasty in Chinese history,with highly developed economy,culture and politics,it records the Chinese ancient extensive art,music,architecture and other aspects of the essence.It is of great significance to study Dunhuang Culture in Tang Dynasty and understand the causes of its emergence,development,prosperity and decline.This article takes the Dunhuang Murals of the Tang Dynasty as the research object,and on this basis,discusses the significance of the Dunhuang culture to clothing.Through pattern experiment,three-dimensional modeling experiment and Texture and color experiment three directions to explore,and through the carrier of clothing on a variety of materials and styles for a reasonable combination,to achieve a comprehensive application of various design elements,the final form of three different angles of clothing design works.On the one hand,the purpose of the study is to arouse the cultural self-confidence of the Chinese nation and deepen the understanding of the national spirit,on the other hand,in order to better pass on the culture,on the basis of the recognition of the Dunhuang culture,to pass on the culture with contemporary thinking,try to use new materials,new language to express the spirit of Dunhuang,create a profound Chinese cultural connotation of the works.To sum up,the combination of Dunhuang frescoes and costume design in Tang Dynasty is feasible,and the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture with new materials and ideas are of theoretical and practical significance,which can open up the design thinking of costume designers,and inject new vitality into the traditional culture.
