Dunhuang Grottoes is known around the world for its rich Paintings, and no paintings in the world as vast as the Dunhuang Mural. Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes is referred to as a wall encyclopaedia. We can learn all about the history of China Civilization and we can even learn about a piece of clothing or an accessory.This paper will take a deep analyse of the Female Donors'Costumes Appeared on Mural Paintings of Dunhuang Grottoes at Late Tang Dynasty as the research subject, there are there primary aspects concerning the subject.First, I will deep analysis with collocation of female clothes at Tang Dynasty. The part of top clothing was proved by lots of document literature. The upper outer garment can be further subcategorized into a short jacket, a sleeveless jacket with vent in the sides, gown and underwear, and I will use the same way to prove the under clothing.Second, taking seriously investigate into 61 Female Donors'costumes at 8 grottoes, these costumes have distinct outline than others. Then, confirm these women's identities by the document literature, and unscramble the arrangement of these costumes, and sum up different style at each of grotto.Third, in contrast of donors'costumes with the other women's costumes in the other paintings, and confirm the arrangement of donors'costumes at Last Tang Dynasty. Finally summarized 21 different styles, and two of them are high frequency.At last, according to the research, drew three of the style to representative the female donors' costumes.
