Research On The Application Of Tang Dynasty Dunhuang Patterns In Costume Design

As the most prosperous period of the development of the ancient Silk Road,the ancient civilization of the Tang Dynasty was incomparable to other dynasties.Friendly economic and cultural exchanges with other countries during that period have always been talked about by later generations.In 2013,General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward his strategic conception of the Marine Silk Road in the 21 st century,which not only gave the ancient Silk Road a brand-new life,but also re-presented Dunhuang's ancient life customs,silk business travel and dance and music civilization on the historical stage.As a pilgrimage place for artists all over the world,Dunhuang has been covered with a veil of mystery and its national culture is broad and profound.Into Dunhuang,close contact with the Dunhuang patterns in the context of the Tang Dynasty,to interpret them in a new way,so that the Dunhuang patterns in the Tang Dynasty appear in front of the public with a new look,better convey and carry forward the traditional culture of the Tang Dynasty,enhance the people's awareness of protecting traditional culture,and promote the development of the Tang Dynasty patterns and even traditional patterns in the application of modern clothing.This thesis is mainly composed of six parts.In the first part,through the discussion of the background and current situation of the Dunhuang patterns in the Tang Dynasty,the research significance and value of the Dunhuang patterns in the Tang Dynasty were proposed,which provided a theoretical basis for the development of the thesis.In the second part,starts from the background of Tang Dynasty patterns formation,analyses the cultural connotation and historical status of traditional patterns in the special environment of Tang Dynasty,and puts forward the significance of inheritance and application of Tang Dynasty patterns in modern society.In the third part,through the analysis of the development of Dunhuang patterns in the Tang Dynasty,the characteristics of Dunhuang patterns in the Tang Dynasty were summarized in the shapes and colors,and the research value of Dunhuang patterns in the Tang Dynasty was analyzed.In the fourth part,analyses the successful application cases of traditional patterns in modern costume design by combining the changes of modelling,technology and materials of modern clothing,so as to provide skills and methods for practical application.In the fifth part,explores the innovative application of the Tang Dynasty patterns in dress design.By analyzing the newfeatures of Dunhuang patterns in the Tang Dynasty and the new forms of modern dress application,it firmly studies the necessity of Dunhuang patterns in the Tang Dynasty and carries out creative design practice.In the sixth part,summarizes the content of the full text.It is hoped that this study will contribute a little to the development and application of the Tang Dynasty Dunhuang patterns in modern costume design.
