| As China enters a new era,we urgently need to increase our confidence in the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The basic requirement is to thoroughly implement the new development concept and strive to build a modern economic system. The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly put forward the stage of China’s current economic development,Lin Zhaomu said that whether China’s economic development is of high quality is reflected in whether it can better meet the needs of the people’s better life, reflected in the five dimensions, namely innovation, coordination, green, open and sharing. So this paper starts from these five dimensions to measure the level of economic development in our country. In recent years, the pollution of exhaust gases and the soaring concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere have all brought irreversible harm, and the global greenhouse effect has become more obvious and climate change has become more serious. In this context, the low-carbon economy is gradually gaining popularity.China has pledged to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060,so what is the current status of carbon dioxide emissions in the country? What are the trends in provincial and municipal emissions? What is the relationship between the level of economic development and carbon emissions in each region? What economic development factors influence carbon emissions? Then, the main contents and conclusions of the research guided by these problems are as follows:Based on the statistical data of 283 prefecture-level cities studied, the research mainly includes the construction of a five-dimensional index system to comprehensively measure the regional development level. At the same time, the total carbon emission of the research samples is calculated, and the spatial and temporal description is carried out to analyze its development trend. Finally, the impact of the two is analyzed based on the econometric model.Among them, there are two points for modification and innovation. One is that the research scale is accurate and refined to cities across the country. The second is to study the dynamic change of carbon emission by using Bayesian space-time hierarchy model earlier. The main conclusions are that the overall regional comprehensive development level shows a trend of fluctuation and rise, and the time change trend of each type is different, and the development of the overall coordination level and resource and environment level is consistent with the national overall development level.China’s carbon emissions show an unbalanced pattern of "low in the west and high in the east".The growth rate of carbon emissions in each city is lower than the national growth rate, and the hot and cold spots of emissions are basically consistent with the hot and cold spots of economic development. The coefficient between regional comprehensive development level and carbon emissions is positive and positively correlated, which indicates that carbon emissions of most cities will increase with regional development.Through the analysis and research of this paper,we hope to provide relevant suggestions for China on how to better implement the regional coordinated development strategy and how to achieve the goal of carbon reduction more effectively. |
