Abstract/Summary:
Bi’er Village is located between Bi’er Town in the northwest of Baojing County,Xiangxi,Hunan Province,and Li’ye Town in Longshan County.It is one of the typical original ecological cultural settlements of the Tujia people,and it is also known as the"hometown of bamboo weaving".With the rapid development of industries technology,the traditional handicraft Bi’er bamboo weaving industies also declined and made the Bi’er bamboo weaving culture inheritance ushered in challenges.Therefore,in order to carry forward the excellent traditional national culture,this paper takes the digital inheritance and innovative application of "Bi’er bamboo weaving" in western Hunan as the main research object.Through the help of digital means,the artistic characteristics of Bi’er bamboo weaving and the digital innovation application practice of its technology in modern tea home products are analyzed,so as to realize the living inheritance and development of "Bi’er bamboo weaving" technology in western Hunan.This paper uses the field investigation method,parametric design method,and practical design method and other research methods for the Xiangxi "Bi’er bamboo weaving" body for careful study,research,and summary.On this basis,digital technology is applied to transform,comb and interpret the material application,weaving technique,shape,drawing pattern,and color,and according to the actual conditions and needs,the typical weaving tools and weaving patterns of Xiangxi Bi’er Bamboo Weaving are coded in an archival hierarchical way;The digitized combing has yielded pictures of tools of broken bamboo strips,weaving techniques,typical vessel shapes,typical patterns,and traditional color extraction of "Bi’er bamboo weaving" in western Hunan.Secondly,based on the digital ontology information of Xiangxi"hardboard flower bamboo weaving",various digital software is used to parameterize and refine the design elements,using Photoshop technology to transform the"hardboard flower" pattern with the binary coordinate map.Through Rhinoceros+Grasshopper parametric plugins,map the binary coordinate map information of"hardboard flower",quickly generate the simulation model of "hardboard flower",and then combine,adjust,and optimize it with the designed digital model of household products.Finally,the map rendering of corresponding materials such as texture of bamboo in KeyShot is completed,so as to realize the overall effect and microstructure preview of "Bi’er bamboo weaving" in western Hunan before the physical weaving of tea home products,and the design practice of "Bi’er bamboo weaving" in western Hunan is completed.The results show that under the background of the digital new era,Xiangxi "Bi’er bamboo weaving" digital technology,not only realizes Xiangxi "Bi’er bamboo weaving" process of permanent protection,and breaks the boundary of space-time and carries out live sharing.In addition,the digital technology integrating Bi’er bamboo weaving design can stimulate the creative thinking of designers,derive the innovation of "hardboard flower" patterns,and preview the structural effect before physical weaving.so as to realize the effective communication between designers and bamboo weaving processing artists,improve the design and production time,realize the living inheritance and development of Bi’er bamboo weaving,and provide certain production technical support for Bi’er bamboo weaving in the future design and manufacturing engineering.
