Research On The Design Of Home Furnishing Products Integrated With Bamboo Weaving Technology In Xiangxi

Xiangxi bamboo weaving technology is a very important part of Chinese folk craft.Exploring the application of Xiangxi bamboo weaving technology in household products not only conforms to the national plan of revitalizing traditional craft,but also contributes to the further enrichment of modern household products.As one of the main representatives of traditional craft,bamboo weaving is practical,unique and widely used.However,this excellent folk craft has been constantly impacted by The Times and is gradually fading out of people’s life.This paper takes Xiangxi bamboo weaving,an intangible cultural heritage project,as the starting point,household products as the focus,and the combined model formed by entropy weight TOPSIS model,analytic hierarchy process and shape grammar as the theoretical basis to study the design of Xiangxi bamboo weaving technology in household products,and demonstrates through relevant design practices.To explore the integration of Xiangxi bamboo weaving technology and modern science and technology.Through research and collection of literature at home and abroad,this paper sorts out the categories,weaving techniques and technical characteristics of Xiangxi bamboo weaving technology,and builds a library of Xiangxi bamboo weaving cultural elements.The challenges and opportunities faced by Xiangxi bamboo weaving in contemporary times are deeply analyzed,and the question of how to integrate bamboo weaving techniques into the design of modern household products is raised.In addition,from the perspective of household products,through the analysis of its concept and design trend,combined with the bamboo weaving technology into the design of modern household products,analyze the feasibility of the integration of Xiangxi bamboo weaving technology and household products,and summarize the corresponding design strategy to achieve the answer to the question.Under the guidance of the design strategy,the entropy weight TOPSIS model is used to integrate the user needs,and the analytic hierarchy process is used to analyze the user needs,which is an important basis for the user portrait.The design orientation of the product is determined according to the user portrait,and the appropriate shape and texture patterns are selected from the bamboo weaving cultural gene bank.The shape grammar is used to make grammar deducation of the intended shape and texture to determine the product shape.Finally,several different design practices are carried out,which not only verifies the feasibility of the combined model theory.It also verifies the possibility of integrating bamboo weaving culture into the design strategy of household products,which provides a new path,new development and new opportunity for the inheritance and innovation of bamboo weaving culture.It also provides a variety of choices of shape and texture for the design of modern household products and enhances the cultural connotation and aesthetic value of household products.
