| With the help of the high-speed economic development and urbanization process since the reform and opening up of our country,our steel and metallurgical industry has experienced the transformation development from prosperity to integration.Among them,the iron ore business,as the basic mainstay business of the industry,has become a required field for major iron and metallurgical plants and more fierce competition.Founded in 2004,XH Metallurgy iron ore as its core business since its inception.In the face of the increasingly fierce competition in the steel and metallurgy fields and the external environment of the national economic downturn,XH Metallurgical Company’s iron ore business development is hindered.Therefore,XH Metallurgical Company has adjusted its strategy and integrated its internal organizational structure to adapt to the new environment.To sum up,it is necessary for XH Metallurgical Company to conduct in-depth analysis and discussion on the future competitive strategy of its iron ore business.This paper comprehensively analyzes XH Metallurgical Company’s iron ore business competition strategy through four main links,which are:literature review and competitive strategy theory review;XH Metallurgical Company iron ore business internal and external environment;Value chain analysis,VRIO analysis and benchmarking analysis;SWOT analysis and XH Metallurgical Company’s strategic choice and implementation guarantee.Based on the above background,based on the theory of competitive strategy,this paper analyzes the external environment of the enterprise and its own resources and capabilities,compares and studies its main competitors,and finds out the core competitiveness and industrial opportunities of the enterprise.Therefore,the conclusion that XH Metallurgical Company should adhere to the differentiated competition strategy is drawn,and the better plan,the specific measures of strategy implementation and the optimization path are proposed based on this conclusion. |
