With the improvement of urbanization and industrialization,the state attaches great importance to the safety production of enterprises.Accidents in the field of safety production show signs of rising,and the government supervision of safety production is facing increasingly severe challenges.Compared with the development trend of work safety supervision in recent years,the speed of work safety supervision does not match the momentum of social and economic development,which puts forward higher requirements for government supervision departments.Taking Port R as an example,this paper studies the government supervision in the safety production of port enterprises.Combined with the empirical investigation and interview,the paper first analyzes the current situation of government supervision on safety production in Port R,starts with the basic practice of government supervision on safety production in Port R,and summarizes the regulatory effectiveness.On this basis,the coordination between regulatory functional departments is not smooth,the government lacks initiative in the safety supervision of port enterprises,and the government has a weak sense of responsibility for safety supervision The problems of government supervision in the safety production of Port R are summarized in terms of the uneven awareness of the safety production responsibility of port employees.Based on the government supervision theory and the collaborative governance theory,the reasons behind the problems are summarized from the following aspects: the imperfect safety supervision collaborative governance mechanism among functional departments,the weakening of government safety supervision professional ability and performance assessment,the immature concept of government source supervision,and the lack of implementation of corporate safety production main responsibility.Finally,on the basis of full consideration of feasibility and practicality,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of building a coordination mechanism between government departments,activating the power of government safety supervision,compacting the government’s responsibility for safety production supervision,and strengthening the implementation of the main responsibility of port enterprises for safety production,so as to make the work of safety production supervision more scientific and effective,and better improve the level of government supervision in the safety production of port enterprises,We will promote long-term stability and social harmony.
