Study On The Spatial And Temporal Evolution And The Influencing Factors Of The Development Level Of Green Economic In The Yangtze River Economic Zone

Since the founding of New China,China’s economy has achieved rapid development.High energy consumption,high pollution,high emissions of the crude economic development approach has brought about rapid economic growth,while environmental problems are also increasingly prominent.Environmental pollution incidents are frequent everywhere,urban haze is worsening,climate warming is overwhelming,and the crude economic development approach is unsustainable.With the concept of sustainable development gaining widespread attention,people are beginning to pay attention to environmental issues,and how to achieve sustainable economic development based on environmental protection has become an important issue.The Second Tenth Report proposes that we should promote green development and the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.Green economic development is an inevitable choice to transform the economic development model in the new era,and the Yangtze River Economic Zone is an important national development strategy area and a pioneer and demonstration belt for green economic transformation.This thesis compares the spatial and temporal evolution of the green economy and its influencing factors in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.This thesis compares domestic and international literature on the connotation of green economy,the evaluation methods of green economy development level and the influencing factors of green economy development level and starts the research on the green economy development level of Yangtze River Economic Zone based on the understanding of the connotation of green economy.Firstly,a set of index system was established to evaluate the green economic development level of the Yangtze River Economic Belt with economic development,social development,and resource environment as the first level indicators,and the index values of green economic development level of 108 cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt between 2011 and 2020 were calculated using the entropy value method.Secondly,a comparative analysis of their green economic development levels was conducted in two dimensions,time and space,to explore the spatial and temporal evolution trends of their green economic development levels.For temporal analysis,radar plots are used to portray the trends of their green economic development levels over ten years;for spatial analysis,the global Moran index and local LISA index are selected to study the spatial characteristics of the green economic development levels in the region.Finally,a panel Tobit model and a spatial econometric model are constructed to analyze the effects of economic development,technological progress,openness,economic agglomeration,financial support,and environmental regulation on the level of green economic development in the Yangtze River Economic Zone.It is found that the green economy development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is good overall and has been growing steadily in the past 10 years,and the differences between cities are gradually reduced but the overall unbalanced development is "high in the east and low in the west".Among the three major components of green economic development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,resource and environment dimensions have higher scores,while economic and social development dimensions have lower scores;economic development,scientific and technological progress,opening up to the outside world,economic agglomeration,financial support and environmental regulation all have significant effects on green economic development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,and the effects on the upper,middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Belt are The degree of influence is different.Based on the results of the study,the following recommendations are proposed: first,strengthen intra-regional linkages and optimize industrial layout;second,improve infrastructure construction and promote equalization development;and third,strengthen ecological protection and optimize environmental management;fourth,establish a sound long-term mechanism and build a green lifestyle.
