The level of Stratosphere is closely related to regional meteorological conditions, precursor emissions and geographical environment, and has a significant negative impact on human health. The concentration of O3in Northeast China is low and the spatial distribution heterogeneity is strong, but the mechanism of influence factors on the distribution of O3in Northeast China is not clear. In this paper,O3concentration,other air pollutants, meteorological data and socioeconomic data were collected from 41cities in Northeast China from 2017 to 2020,the spatial-temporal distribution and evolution characteristics of O3concentration were studied using statistical analysis,Kriging interpolation, spatial auto-correlation analysis, hot spot analysis and geographic detector, the effects of atmospheric pollutants, meteorological factors and socioeconomic factors on O3concentration were evaluated from the aspects of season and space. The results:(1)From 2017 to 2020,the concentration of O3in Northeast China was lower than that in other regions, and the concentration of O3decreased year by year. The seasonal variation of O3was obvious, which was high in spring and summer, and low in autumn and winter. The concentration of O3in May to July was higher, and the rate of exceeding the standard was also higher.(2)In terms of spatial distribution, the O3concentration in the study area was generally high in the southeast, low in the northeast and middle in the west.In comparison, the O3concentration in Liaoning province was the highest, followed by Jilin province and Heilongjiang province, and lowest in the five cities in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.(3)The global significant positive correlation was obtained by spatial auto-correlation analysis. The hot spot analysis showed that O3concentrations exhibited spatial agglomerations of hot spots in the south and cold spots in the north. The O3pollution in the south of Northeast China is serious and the spatial concentration is obvious, while the O3pollution in the north is light and the spatial distribution is scattered and the correlation is not strong.(4)There was a weak and significant negative correlation between O3and NO2and CO,indicating that precursors emitted from human activities had a weak influence on O3concentration,and the influence of wind speed and sunshine hours on the spatial variation of O3concentration was small. The spatial variability of O3concentration in spring and autumn was mainly driven by temperature, while relative humidity and precipitation in summer weakened the effect of temperature. In hot spots with high O3concentrations,temperature is the only factor controlling the spatial distribution of O3.In uncharted areas, the proportion of green land and secondary industry to GDP together dominate the spatial distribution of O3,the largest contribution of cold spots to O3was secondary industry as a share of GDP.
