Media Construction Of Ecological Image Of Dongting Lake From The Perspective Of Environmental Communication

The state has always attached great importance to the "construction of ecological civilization" and the "construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt".Dongting Lake is an important node of the Yangtze River economic belt.As the "kidney of the Yangtze River",Dongting Lake involves the balance of the whole Yangtze river ecosystem.The construction and dissemination of its ecological image is of great strategic significance for the construction of the ecological civilization image of the Yangtze River Basin and even the Great Lakes in China,At present.Based on environmental communication,through content analysis and discourse analysis,this thesis takes the report text of China environment daily on Dongting Lake Ecology from 2011 to 2020 as the research object,and focuses on "how China environment daily reports Dongting Lake issues,how to construct discourse on Dongting Lake issues,and what kind of Dongting Lake Ecological image the report presents".At the level of content analysis,it makes an overall analysis of the number,tendency,genre and source of the report text;At the level of discourse analysis,it is analyzed from the perspective of text,discourse practice and social practice.It is found that the report of China environment daily on the ecology of Dongting Lake adheres to the concept of news objectivity and Constructive News,but the visibility of the topic is not high.Its content focuses on the government’s governance and protection of the ecological environment of Dongting Lake,and emphasizes the discourse expression of elite groups at the same time;On the other hand,the report discourse has the characteristics of green political philosophy.War metaphors and green metaphors appear frequently,and the distribution of topics is uneven.The policy agenda affects the discourse topics.At the same time,the discourse of green development also affects the concept of environmental governance.Based on the construction of the ecological image of Dongting Lake,it is found that in the political ecological image,Dongting Lake is protected and managed under the implementation of the environmental political concept of "protecting a river and clear water";In the economic and ecological image,different interest groups play a competitive game between personal economic interests and ecological interests of Dongting Lake;In the humanistic ecological image,in the multi discourse space of Dongting Lake Ecology,political elites are full,and public discourse and public image are missing;In the image of an ecological community,the Great Lakes of China and the "one lake and four waters" in Hunan share weal and woe,and their destinies are intertwined.
