The on-board DMI is used in the current train operation control system to displays basic information such as the current speed,target speed and distance monitoring of the train.When the train is driving in the section,the on-board DMI can’t provide the train driver with the route situation information of the station ahead.If the front route is occupied and the train driver is not notified in time,it will affect the driving safety.At the same time,the temporary speed restriction command is not checked on the on-board equipment,and once the temporary speed restriction command received is wrong,it will endanger the driving safety.When the train approaches the station,the dispatcher handles the route of the low-speed train entering the station according to the fixed block length,which leads to a waste of resources,and results in a decrease in the overall driving efficiency.The train operation control system realizes the control of train operation according to ATP,but there is not system to monitor it.In order to solve the above problems,further ensure the safety of train operation and improve the driving efficiency,this thesis designs a comprehensive monitoring system for train operation safety based on 5G communication.Based on 5G communication technology and Beidou positioning technology,the system realizes the functions including: visual extension of the train’s route,the route handling in variable approach section,the parallel monitoring of temporary speed restriction and the parallel monitoring of train tracking intervals.In order to realize the above functions,this thesis builds an experiment platform to verify the application of 5G in railway scenarios,quantifies the information transmission indicators of 5G.The main contents of the thesis include:(1)This thesis proposes a solution for the above problems.This thesis proposes a solution based on the principle of parallel monitoring,combined with the train tracking interval model,and through analysis of the problems of train operation safety and train driving efficiency.(2)On the basis of the solution,this thesis clarifies the information transmission process and realizes the design of the monitoring system.Taking the information flow as the starting point,this thesis designs the overall structure of the monitoring system,determines the modular structure of the solution.The station and on-board interface are designed according to actual needs to display the execution status of each function.This thesis builds a communication channel of the monitoring system with 5G according to the information exchanged between the station and the train and defines the standard of information transmission.(3)This thesis studies the realization method of the detailed function module of the system.Analyzes the specific functions of the system,this thesis clarifies the system workflow and operation sequence,and avoids system function conflicts during the execution process.On the basis of 5G communication,the control process of train handover is studied.(4)In this thesis,a physical platform is built and its performance is verified.This thesis uses the C++ language for programming under the Visual Studio development environment.This thesis builds a physical platform through industrial computer,on-board DMI,5G communication module and Beidou positioning module to verify the function of the system.At the same time,based on the test methods of iperf and time difference,the indicators such as delay and transmission rate are analyzed,and the system performance is tested and evaluated.The results show that the monitoring system designed in this thesis can effectively solve the shortcomings of the existing railway system,improve the safety of train operation,and ensure the operation efficiency of the train.Through the evaluation of system performance,the information transmission index of the monitoring system has been greatly improved compared with the GSM-R system,among which,the data transmission rate has been increased by more than 10 times,and the delay time of data transmission is the highest level.This thesis contains 49 figures,19 tables and 56 reference.
