Methyl methacrylate(hereinafter referred to as MMA)is an important organic chemical raw material and polymer monomer,used in the production of acrylic,high-grade paint,LED panel and other household appliances,decorative materials,etc.Since 2017,the consumption demand of MMA in China has reached the first place in the world.The demand is large and keeps improving.However,the output of MMA in China is far from enough to meet the market demand and most of them rely on imports.QX company plans to invest 3.8 billion yuan to build 200000 tons of MMA.The project has long construction period,large investment and many build benefit.The process of construction of the project schedule management also has a great challenge.Therefore,to establish a set of efficient and convenient MMA project progress management experiences do many benefits for other relevant enterprises.In view of this,this paper is based on the actual construction of the QX company MMA project.The paper expounds the research background and significance,research contents and methods,the current theories about project progress management at home and abroad.It uses literature research method and critical path method to analyses the progress of the project management of MMA.First of all,it describes the general situation of QX Company and MMA construction project.Construction unit,material and equipment supply,administrative supervision are the main influence factors and will lead to the risk of overdue.It helps to improve the project schedule management direction.Secondly,it decomposes the WBS work,codes all processes,defines their work tasks,estimates the duration of various activities,draws the project network plan,finds out the critical path and calculates the time needed for the project schedule.Again,it uses the application of data analysis and gantt chart to control MMA project schedule,timely find the project schedule deviation and optimize the project schedule(through the pile foundation work with civil work,civil construction and equipment installation,between all debugging process,optimization of the equipment and pipeline installation).It uses cross optimization of construction schedule planning.Finally,in order to ensure the smooth realization of the MMA project schedule and optimization objectives,the project schedule guarantee measures are formulated,including optimizing organizational structure,strengthening progress tracking,improving supply efficiency,rationally selecting construction units,and establishing incentive systems.The results show that QX company’s MMA project schedule management is effective and scientific.It uses the WBS,three estimation,gantt chart,network plan method in the chemical industry project construction.Combined with my years construction management experience engaged in chemical industry,using cross construction method makes five days ahead of schedule.It improves the work efficiency and efficiency,improves the management level in the process of engineering construction and provides a useful reference for the same type of project schedule management.
