After entering the era of 21st Century,the thought and mode of project management enterprises becoming more and more useful for the pace of time development needs.Some important work in company often can be decomposed into many projects,in the implementation process of this important work;it can perfectly reflect the special characteristics of temporary work results for the project.Project schedule management plays a very important role in all project management tasks.Baosteel 2030 hot galvanizing unit renovation project is based on Baosteel Limited company to meet the market demand,optimize the structure of hot galvanized products,improve the competitive ability of Baosteel hot galvanized products,dismantled the cold rolling mill unit’s 2030 hot galvanizing line,and on the site to build a new annual output of 280 thousands tons of thick material,hot galvanizing unit of high strength and super high strength GI products and 100 thousand tons of hot aluminized silicon products.This study regards Baosteel 2030 hot galvanizing renovation project as the research object,focuses on the current Baosteel 2030 hot galvanizing project schedule construction,and improve the progress construction of the current project through the application of project progress management tools,methods and technology,at the same time improve the progress step by step according to the continuous improvement idea of PDCA.This paper focuses on the project progress management,including the organization,schedule plan,schedule control,through professional tracking,by optimizing the project schedule management,complete the project schedule finally.In the application of project management software WBS project implementation process,project responsibility allocation table,three time estimation method to estimate the time,Gantt diagram,network diagram,critical path theory,fast improve project management level,to accelerate application progress of project management software.There are several problems in 2030 hot galvanizing renovation project schedule management,namely project schedule plan is too not refined,lack of control and project schedule plan during project implementation,no continuous improvement in project schedule.Regards to the project schedule plan is not refined,improve it through the activity definition,sort,the resource estimates,the resource duration estimates and schedule development and so on to optimize the development of the project schedule is feasible;Regards to the problem of the lack of control in the implementation of the project,through a time deviation analysis,resource balance,project schedule compression project progress control theory tools and corrective measures,make reasonable arrangements according to the actual situation of the task;Regards to no continuous improvement in the implementation of the project schedule,improve the project through the PDCA idea.Through the theoretical research on 2030 hot galvanizing project can effectively improve the project schedule management,can reduce the deviation and correct the deviation after it happen,effectively avoid such deviation happen again.We also hope can share the progress management research results to domestic and foreign counterparts.
