Development And Application Of High Stiffness Knitted Fabric

With the rapid turnover of the clothing market and the improvement of consumers’ taste level,the public not only paid attention to the color and style of clothing,but also had higher and higher requirements on the style,collocation and materials of clothing.Knitwear with higher comfort,more application scenarios and more casual collocation had become the primary choice of consumers.Knitted fabrics have been widely used in T-shirts,underwear,sportswear and other aspects,but when worn as outerwear,due to the special structure of knitting technology,it will expose its poor rigidity.The main research content of this topic is to make the knitted fabric get better rigidity and realize the outerwear of knitted clothing under the premise of keeping its comfortable,breathable,elastic and good extensibility,and apply it to the design of suit,provided theoretical and practical basis for the development and application of knitted suit.Firstly,this paper according to the promotion demand of knitted fabric suit and the current market situation,faced the majority of consumers to do a questionnaire on the demand of high-crisp knitted fabric in the suit industry,and then statistical analysis of the survey results,and finally get the development direction of high-crisp knitted fabric.Then through the selection of yarn raw material,yarn spinning way,yarn testing three aspects,select the most suitable for high crisp knitting fabric yarn.In the selection of raw materials,cotton,viscose and polyester fibers were selected to match,and the number of denier and root of the filament is 30 D polyester monofilament.There are four kinds of fiber raw materials: polyester + cotton,(polyester + cotton)+ cotton,polyester +viscose,(polyester + viscose)+ viscose.Sirofil spinning was selected and a new spinning method B-Sirofil was designed for spinning.In the yarn test,the main twist of yarn,strength,hairiness,dry unevenness,tensile strength after the test comparison.The results showed that :(polyester + cotton)+ cotton will be used as the yarn materials in the weaving process of high-stiffness knitted suit fabric,and the other three yarn materials will also be woven as a comparative experiment.Then,from the preparation of fabric organization selection,fabric weaving,fabric performance test three aspects,the optimal selection of high crisp knitted fabric.Four kind of yarn according to the basic requirements of knitting yarn and laboratory flat knitting machine knitting yarn yarn fineness range,choose the interlock group as the basic organization of knitting weaving,four samples of knitting,weaving process(polyester and viscose),viscose,polyester and viscose woven degree is low,have two kinds of sample kink,cannot undertake fabric development;The woven samples were tested in the next step.After the tests of air permeability,pilling,stiffness,tensile strength and breaking strength,the comparative test results were analyzed and it was concluded that :(cotton + polyester)+ cotton sample was the optimal variety developed for high-crisp knitted fabrics.Finally,from the analysis of the questionnaire,the design orientation,design ideas and design theme of the high-crisp knitted fabric suit were obtained,and the design application practice,design proposal,rendering effect drawing,style drawing,and the final garment production and effect display were carried out.Through the analysis of consumers’ preference in the questionnaire,it can been seen that the suit design of this project was positioned as a casual fashion suit with men’s suit and women’s suit and professional and casual sense coexisting between the ages of 25-35.The design idea revolves around the fabric,style and color.The fabric was the high-crisp knitted fabric developed by this project,the style was leisure and self-cultivation,and the color was coffee color.The proposed design theme was "Roots",on behalf of young people rooted underground,thick and thin;Finally,the output of this design application practice includes design proposal,effect drawing,style drawing,garment making and garment effect,showed the product effect of high-crisp knitted suit.
