In recent years,flexible stab-resistant materials made of high-performance fibers such as UHMWPE as raw materials are currently the focus of research around the world,but its products are difficult to take into account both good stab-resistant performance and wearing comfort.This is also the current problem and difficulty of flexible anti-stab materials to be solved.In this paper,by adding viscose with good moisture absorption,UHMWPE filament and UHMWPE staple fiber yarn to spin composite yarn and weaving the fabric,it provides a reference for the research and development of UHMWPE composite multi-layer stab-resistant fabric.This paper uses viscose staple fiber as the outer fiber,and uses UHMWPE staple fiber yarn(14.75tex)and filament(150 D)as core filaments to spin 30 tex core-spun yarn;viscose staple fiber is used as the intermediate fiber,and respectively use UHMWPE spun yarn(14.75tex)and filament(150 D)as wrapping fibers to spin 30 tex Sirofil yarn;use viscose staple fiber as the intermediate fiber,and respectively use UHMWPE spun yarn(7.38 tex)and filament(75 D)as wrapping fiber to spin 30 tex Sirofil double-wrapped yarn.By changing the distance between the UHMWPE spun yarn or the filament and the staple fiber,the yarn forming performance of Sirofil yarn and Sirofil double-wrapped yarn is optimized,and the yarn performance is tested and compared.The results show that the three structural composite yarns with better overall performance are Sirofil double-wrapped yarn,Sirofil yarn and core-spun yarn.Compared with the composite yarn containing UHMWPE spun yarn,the composite yarn containing UHMWPE filament in the yarn structure has better overall performance.Afterwards,the 6 different types of UHMWPE/R composite yarns were woven into plain weave fabrics of the same specification,and they were tested and compared for mechanical and anti-stab performance.The results show that the mechanical properties of the fabric woven from the composite yarn with better yarn strength are relatively better.The piercing process of each fabric can be roughly divided into three stages: stretching and squeezing zone,continuous cutting zone and squeezing friction zone.The shearing force generated by the knife on the fabric most directly leads to the puncture of the fabric.The puncture force of 6different types of UHMWPE/R composite yarn fabrics of the same specification has little difference,so it shows that the cutting resistance of their yarns is not much different.However,during the puncture process of the fabric,the greater degree of stretch deformation depression produced by the fabric containing UHMWPE filaments has a more obvious effect on the absorption of puncture energy.Finally,from the aspects of yarn interweaving and fabric specifications,the influence of fabric mechanics and stab resistance is explored,and the fabric is optimized accordingly.The results show that the interweaving of yarns can combine the greater frictional resistance of the fabric containing UHMWPE spun yarn to the cutter with the better absorption of puncture energy by the fabric containing UHMWPE filament,while ensuring certain puncture resistance performance and reducing the energy impact on the wearer.Within a certain range,as the warp density increases,the tightness increases,the breaking strength increases,the warp tear strength decreases while the weft tear strength increases,and the stab resistance increases.Under the same tightness,the mechanical and anti-stab performance of fabrics woven with larger fineness yarns is better than that of fabrics woven with smaller fineness yarns.
