Study On The Artistic Characteristics And Design Application Of Catering Utensils In The Western Zhou

"As a material carrier,eating utensils embody plastic arts,craft production,customs,social functions,social grades,etc.,so they are also the specific expression of spiritual culture and institutional culture." It is self-evident that diet plays an important role in daily life.As the carrier of food,eating utensils at all stages have their own uniqueness in creation system,form,decoration,thought,development and trend.The Western Zhou Dynasty as a "distinguished" etiquette society,the ideological system,culture,art and other aspects carried by eating utensils contain rich ideological content.The research on the design of eating utensils in the Western Zhou Dynasty will bring a lot of enlightenment to the current design.The design of eating utensils in the Western Zhou Dynasty is an important part of traditional design,which is closely related to the development of Chinese traditional culture.By analyzing the characteristics of eating utensils of different materials in different social stages of the Western Zhou Dynasty,this paper combs the changes in the shape and decoration of eating utensils in the early,middle and late periods,and summarizes the design development trend of eating utensils in the Western Zhou Dynasty,so as to explore the influence of social culture of the Western Zhou Dynasty on the design of eating utensils;By analyzing the characteristics of the manufacturing process of eating utensils,this paper summarizes the development and changes of eating utensils under the influence of the process characteristics;By combining the composition and form of the design elements of catering utensils in the Western Zhou Dynasty,this paper analyzes the artistic design characteristics of the modeling and decoration of catering utensils in the Western Zhou Dynasty;By analyzing the use behavior characteristics of some eating utensils,this paper summarizes the influence of use behavior on the modeling development of eating utensils under the people-oriented design consciousness of the Western Zhou society;Finally,through the artistic characteristics conveyed by the Western Zhou eating utensils,this paper analyzes its design consciousness,and summarizes the modern design value of the Western Zhou eating utensils based on its design consciousness.Then,through the actual case analysis,this paper integrates the traditional elements of the Western Zhou eating utensils into the design ideas and methods of modern design,and finally makes a design attempt.This paper takes the eating utensils of the Western Zhou Dynasty as the research object,takes the traditional ritual culture and the corresponding historical and social environment of the Western Zhou Dynasty as the research background,and takes the combination of the artistic design characteristics of the traditional eating utensils and the contemporary design analysis method as the main research method.By studying the characteristics of catering utensils in modeling,decoration,technology and use in the Western Zhou Dynasty,this paper deeply studies the artistic characteristics and design value of catering utensils.
